Greetings, Used your PRICELINE links at the top and bid on a hotel in San Antonio. Started with $70 and 4*, hoping for the Hyatt Riverwalk, but ended up getting the Crowne Plaza for $80. Meh. I think this hotel may be listed as a 4* on HOTWIRE, but on PRICELINE its a 3.5*. Cheers!

Hi There, Used your links for PRICELINE and got the Inn of the Governers for $69 on the first try. After taxes and fees it comes out to about $87. I was hoping for the Hotel Santa Fe, as we've stayed at the Inn of the Gov before and the layout is more like a motel than hotel. Free breakfast and parking though, and great hamburgers at the restaurant. Staying there 01/16/10-01/17/10.

Hello Again! I wanted to tell you about another deal I got for a California hotel. We tried PRICELINE for a 3.5* hotel in Napa for $85. No dice. On the second try we made an additional selction for 3* and increased the bid to $89. We scored with the Embassy Suites in Napa. I'm pleased as the rate on the website is $199. :) Now I need luck on Car rentals from SFO...nothing is biting for $25 or less during those dates! :)

After checking the winning bids on this forum, I bid $77 for a hotel in Pasadena and got The Westin on the first try. I was hoping for the Sheraton, but pleased with this selection as it gets decent reviews on Tripadvisor.com. Thanks!
