  1. This indeed was Hotel Kabuki, very happy with that, seems like a good hotel. The price ended up dropping by $1 to $119.
  2. Amenities: Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Very happy with this booking.
  3. Had been trying Priceline for a few weeks, maxing out rebids multiple times above $136 for a 4* in Pike Place. Today Hotline had 4* for $107 with these amenities: Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower First tried PRICELINE up to $107 with no luck, so I booked through HOTWIRE, and used the link. Ended up with The Westin, very happy.
  4. Here is the entire list when clicking "See all amenities": Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower
  5. Done and done. After looking it seems like it might be Hotel Kabuki, is this right?
  6. My dates are April 25 to May 2, the price is $120. Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind I usually use Priceline but have been unsuccessful getting anything yet for even parts of these dates, so I'm tempted to jump on this, but am kind of unamiliar with hotwire. Thanks.
  7. Thanks, thereuare. I work for a consumer magazine and we're doing an article on hotel prices in an upcoming issue. Just trying to learn from the ground up.
  8. Thank you all for the responses, much appreciated. Now, I know this is the Priceline section but what about Hotwire? Their process is a bit different than Priceline's so there isn't a chance of people overpaying and teh extra dough going to Hotwire since they have set offers. Are they getting anything back from the hotels for selling these unused rooms, or is it just the fees that make them money?
  9. So lets say the Hyatt is offering rooms to Priceline for $70. Priceline then accepts an $80 bid for a room at the Hyatt. The extra $10 a night goes to Priceline not to the Hyatt?
  10. How does Priceline make money off the name your own price service? Is it based solely on the fees they charge you with your bid, or do they also get a some percentage back from the hotel for winning bids? Thanks
