Thanks for the offer of assistance but we've booked using an employee travel discount available to my husband. Total for a 4* hotel directly across from an underground station on the Piccadilly line (for ease of transfer from Heathrow) for ~$120 per night.

Thank you for the assistance. I went ahead and booked this deal through the Hotwire link and the hotel turned out to be Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Airport. Total with tax and fees for the one night stay is $72.92.

Showing on Hotwire as 3* all suites hotel - $59/nt for a one night stay in mid December. Complimentary: Free internet Free parking Free breakfast Amenities: Airport shuttle Fitness center Pools Business center Pet friendly Self service laundry I thought this might be the Comfort Suites but the "pet friendly" amenity threw me off. Residence Inn Albany Airport 6/4 - 6/5/10 $60 plus $16.01 tax = $76.01 Not the hotel I was hoping for but perfectly acceptable for a one night stay while on the road to our destination. Used BetterBidding PRICELINE links as start. Thanks!

Hotwire total with tax is $155.34! I had previously booked this same car with Alamo using a corporate code and coupon combination and the best I could get was about $270/wk, and that was down from $400+ a week ago. Saved $115 using HOTWIRE and promptly cancelled my previous reservation! :) * Booked using the HOTWIRE link on this page of course.

Using the PRICELINE link on betterbidding.com I tried $50 at first and was rejected. Got a 'second bid' offer asking if I'd up my bid by $14. Still a great deal so I took it at $64 for the night. This is the Hyatt Place Pittsburgh Cranberry hotel on Emeryville Drive. I've used the Hyatt Place chain before (in Phoenix) and was happy with the rooms, service, free wifi and complimentary breakfast. Hoping to have the same experience here. Thanks BetterBidding! :)

I see a 3* London Southbank hotel on Hotwire, amenities include complimentary breakfast and high speed internet, $59/nt. The only hotel with these amenities I see on the BetterBidding list is the Express by Holiday Inn on Southwark Street but its rated 2 1/2*. What are the odds this is the place? I only need two nights in a clean room from April 4-6 for a little sightseeing after a week spent elsewhere in England. Any opinions on this hotel/location? Thanks in advance for your help! :)
