I used the Quality Inn from Kayak. Needed to be close to Willimasburg and Hotwire zone was too spread out. It was around 80 a night. Pretty clean very close to the historic town of Williamsburg. Free internet, The free breakfast was just rolls, cereal, and juice.

I got the Omni Shoreham from Priceline. Not a bad hotel it is old but upgraded and a little far from the Mall

Yes, the Williamsburg was not a good area for hotwire in my opinion. I needed something close and the area was too spread out. I used Kayak for that. Should I update that thread?

Thanks guys I just decided to book the Intercontinental 4 1/2* for $122 on HOTWIRE. (using your link) I knew this hotel was a sure thing from the pool icon and 41/2 stars. Did not want to risk not getting the ST. Francis so I went with the new higher star hotel. I new it would have all the bells and whistles. Wanted to avoid the Market St. Westin and Grand Hyatt.

Didn't the Palace have the pool feature when you booked it?

Hello board, long time watcher first time poster. I am looking for a hotel in Union Square Area one night for this Friday 2/6/09. Searching hotwire I have a four star hotel for $99. features: Fitness Restaurant Business Internet Spa From reading your threads it looks like this is the Westin Saint Francis. Could this be any other hotel in USE? I live in SF so I really just want to stay there because of personal history. If there is a chance it is something else I may not go with it. I know there is no guarantee but I just wanted to get some odds. Thanks in advance and I will use your link when I purchase.
