  1. Hi I have updated the Las Vegas enquiry. Have gone back to BiddingHelper.com, 3 1/2 star Pasadena hotel now $103.00 per night. I clicked on the green button and the amenities are as shown in the earlier post. The other 3 1/2 star hotel in Pasadena Courtyard by Marriott does have a self-service laundry but no pets, which makes me think this is the Sheraton. Thanks for any help. Jodi
  2. Ended up booking MGM as too difficult to pin down which hotel fitted the description.
  3. Hi Searched in Bidding Helper for 1 room 1 May 2014 to 10 May 2014 in Pasadena. Have done a fair bit of research into hotels in the area, and given the limited number of hotels I thought it would be easy to guess. My question relates to the 3 1/2 star propertywith amenities: Pet friendly smoke free rooms fitness centre pool(s) restaurants(s) business centre self-service laundry internet access tennis nearby in-room accessbility. Price: 105.00 (showing as being reduced from $242.00) My guess is the Sheraton, but this hotel does not have a self-service laundry, I emailed them and asked. I had this issue once before in Brooklyn, where the Sheraton was listed as having a laundry when it didn't and when I complained to Hotwire they gave me a $50.00 voucher. I think Hotwire needs to be accurate, even if they leave amentities out to try and trick us, they shouldn't make them up! I noticed on the Priceline forum that on the 12 March someone got this hotel for $80.00 on Priceline name your own bid, so may try this. Do you agree with my guess? Thanks for your help. I will book through the link and let you know the outcome. Thanks Jodi

Really happy with the booking and the price Jodi

  9. Hi I am looking at a hotel in Philly 29 October to 3 November. Yesterday it was $99.00 and today it is $93.00. A hotel I booked yesterday in New York has been reduced from $116.00 to $114.00. Is there any logic to how Hotwire rates work? Are they formulated to drop to a pre-established rate then dissappear? Will they go up tomorrow? Or is there no answer? I might as a total waste of time track the price and see what happens but I do need to book at some stage. any comments would be appreciated. Jodi
  10. Hi Dates are 29 October - 3 November 2 adults 1 child for Philadelphia City Centre East $119 3 star only amenties shown are complimentary breakfast and pool. I am guessing either Doubletree or Hilton Inn. Any other help would be appreciated. Thanks Jodi
  11. Hi I have never booked on Hotwire before, and asked for some help on Tripadviser and was referred to this site. On Hotwire I have found a 3 star hotel in Anaheim - - Disneyland South non-smoking, continental or full breakfast, pool, laundry and high speed internet access. The places of interest are the Block at Orange. Price $49.00 per night. I searched for check in 10 July 2009 check out 15 July 2009 for 2 adults and 1 child. I have spent all afternoon (before I knew about this site) trying to work out which hotel it is (or isn't). I can't match the Trip Adviser review rating (and number of ratings) with any hotel. Can anyone help? Don't want to travel all the way from australia to stay in a Motel 6! thanks
