Booked this room so we don't have to drive 2+ hours back to our vacation condo on the gulf coast after a day at Disney. We chose this resort because we wanted to be close to the actual Disney resorts, and a hotel that had a shuttle to the parks. I was fairly confident I was going to get the Hotel Royal Plaza and it was right!

We decided to rebook with the Wynn as well. Hotwire really has been accomidating about this. When they called, they asked if we had other reservations and if they had any cancellation fees, etc. I hate giving them money, but at the end of the day, we really wanted to stay at the Wynn and it's a better bang for our buck than Planet Hollywood. That said, I talked to customer service at around 6:30 last night. I've yet to receive email confirmation of the rebooking at the Wynn, it also hasn't yet been charged to my credit card. I'm holding on to my other reservation until then.

Thank you for the help! I found a better rate on Starwood's website for AAA members. That's not available for the price guarantee, so I just went through the hotel's website. I'll be sure to use your links for future HOTWIRE purchases. Thanks again.

I was involved in the Wynn fiasco and was able to cancel my booking that was moved to the Trump. Amenities: Casino Fitness Center Pools Restaurants Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services Trip Advisor 3.5 from 1680+ customer reviews. I think it's Planet Hollywood, would you agree? I found a slightly better deal on their website, but have Hotdollars to spend. Thanks for your help!

Well I received this email as well. My initial winning details from Hotwire: My hotwire details: Sat, Feb 14, 2009 Check-out date Tue, Feb 17, 200 Hotel rate per night: $119.00 Nights: 3 Rooms: 1 Subtotal: $357.00 Tax recovery charges & fees: $37.29 Total price: $394.29 I received the same email as the prior poster except I only received $75 Hotdollars. That is not the same as a free night at the hotel we're moved to, additionally it's not a refund but a credit for a future purchase. I'm going to speak to customer service and see what I can do. At the very least I expect a one night refund. I'd prefer a refund or another option to be rebooked that has a casino and is actually on the strip.

Hi, new posting here. If you go into your account on Hotwire, for your upcoming reservation, does it still have the Wynn listed? I'm going the same weekend you are, Feb 14-17, and got the Wynn through Hotwire. When I log into my account on Hotwire, it still says the Wynn for my hotel. I was wondering if yours did as well and if I should be calling Hotwire. Thanks!
