  1. Just a heads up for anyone that is looking for the 5/5 date in particular, as I am, the Parc 55 has $112/night direct promotion going on currently.
  2. I have had some success going into the individual Hyatt's page and use their e-concierge to request room types/upgrades. Use this opportunity to also put in your Hyatt number, and more times than not I have been given the bed type requested. Calling ahead of time to follow up on your e-request will also help. Here is the link to San Fran web site. sanfranciscoregency.hyatte-concierge.com/Login.aspx Good luck.
  3. My associate just booked thru hotwire for this hotel for October 11 - 13, 2011. Same amenities were listed. It turned out to be the Hotel Sierra Charlotte Center City. It has been newly taken over by Hyatt. Looks like a great buy. Normal rates were $167/night. Expensive parking though, valet only at $22/night, but there appears to be lots of parking lots around in the $8 to 10/night, but not secured.
  4. If I were going to guess I would say Alpharetta Windward Parkway. I got one there a while back for $29 for a Friday night on priceline.
  5. Just a quick question about HOTWIRE's policy regarding "resort fees". I see a lot of high end properties on Hotwire listed with "Resort" as an amenity. Hotwire does state that there could be a resort fee when that is listed. If Hotwire doesn't list Resort on the amenities list, shouldn't they then reimburse you if this is wrongly missing. An extra $15 to 30 per night really adds to the total cost. Thank you
  6. Thanks for the help everyone, but we decided to stay up in Hollywood 1 extra night since it wasn't clear which property this was.
  7. Thanks to the both of you. I will be waiting patiently if you decide to book it and can determine what it is.
  8. They are firm for the area desired. Whether we stay at this property or not will depend on getting a better feel on which hotel this is. Thanks
  9. Replied to the threads in question, any assistance would be appreciated on the San Clemente property.
  10. Went to Atlanta instead of Chatt, thanks for the help everyone.
  11. Thanks for the assistance everyone, but my plans for the trip changed and I didn't go.
  12. I can't find any hotels on the list that match what I am seeing. Any help would be appreciated. June 17-18, 2010. 3 star in San Clemente Amenities listed are: Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool, Business Center, Laundry, High Speed Internet Tripadvisor states: 4.5 out of 5 stars wtih 50+ reviews
  13. Replied to previous threads, please review question on Chattanooga and advise if you have additional information. I can't find anything that is anywhere close in the pinned list. Thank you.
  14. We were toying with getting a room in Huntsville for a concert, but decided to just drive back the couple of hours back to Nashville instead of paying for a room.
  15. Didn't ever book a room, stayed extra time with family in the area.
  16. I'm trying to identify a Chattanooga Airport property. 69$/night 3/16/2010 - 3/17/2010 2 Adults 2.5-star hotel in Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport CHA This hotel features the following amenities: Suite Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool Business Center Laundry High Speed Internet It shows a 3.5 out 5 TA rating, does not show number of reviews.
  17. I booked a room at the Andaz West Hollywood on Priceline for $100/night on June 9. I had read a few other boards after booking to check out some reviews on the property, and noticed that there is a Gay/Lesbian Pride March along Sunset Blvd June 12 - 14. That is probably your problem. You might have better luck with your later dates in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area. Hope this helpful.
  18. Won the Andaz West Hollywood for June 9 - 10, at $100/night. I tried on 2 separate days to win a 4* hotel in the Beverly Hills - West Hollywood area. I started at $80/night and used my 3 free rebid zones but no luck on the first night. Tried on the second day, starting at $85/night, and won on my third free rebid at $100/night. The hotel was the Andaz West Hollywood. I was nervous with some of the previous wins that I have read about on the board, but was very happy with this hotel win. Used the PRICELINE link on the board. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $100.00 Subtotal: $100.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $22.02 Total Charges*: $122.02 Thanks again for all the work and information provided.
  19. I'm looking in the same general time frame, but I am a bit confused by the posting. Was the winning bid at the 4* Hyatt Regency Irvine in the heading, or at the 3.5* Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport in the body of the posting? Thanks so much, Richard
  20. Its not a ready to commit or not issue. It is more a matter of scheduling and whether I want to be in the same hotel for one night or two prior to flying out on June 10. I may stay further away from LAX on Monday, June 8 and then move closer to LAX on the 9th. Or, if I am closer to LAX on the 8th, I might stay in one area both nights.
  21. Actually, this is the previous weekend to our Hollywood trip. Going to a concert in Huntsville. We are from the Nashville area, and will be visiting the LA area 6/4 - 6/10. The later dates are times looking at the hollywood area, or maybe a beach area south of LA. Thanks for the inquiry and all your help.
