We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Charleston area. We got a fabulous deal through Priceline on the room and it was, by far, one of the best I've stayed at through PL. The hotel is an older, historic hotel but didn't show its age in the least. The room was spacious, had two queen beds and a great view of the city. The beds were THE COMFIEST EVER - even better than the Heavenly beds from the Sheraton brand. The linens were high end and included feather toppers and goose down comforters. They offer free internet access in their lobby for guests, which worked out perfectly. It is located on King Street - the heart of the city. We walked everywhere and it was extremely convenient. The in hotel restaurant, the Swamp Fox, was excellent! We enjoyed a lovely late lunch when we arrived into Charleston as well as a tasty breakfast buffet the morning we left. If in Charleston again in the future, we would DEFINITELY stay here again. A wonderful experience - thanks PL!
