Hello - I'm looking at hotels for February 5th-6th, 2011 in Minneapolis. I came across 3.5* for 48 dollars a night and it asked me if I wanted to choose this hotel or a 4* hotel with free room upgrade - so I wanted to see both my options if I can? I do feel like the 4* would be a better deal with the free room upgrade, but the price is the same for both hotels since it asked me that option. I got lucky and got the 630 dollars price back!! I booked this for 630 dollars total for 5 nights from 03/11/11 to 03/16/11 and got the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. Thanks, this is a great deal!

I can't understand what happened... I'm not sure if I did something wrong but few hours ago, when I was clicking continue to see the final price after taxes and fees, it said 630 dollars for 5 nights. Now when I went to look, it says 673 dollars. Does this happen? It was at 109 dollars everytime I looked, so does taxes change or what? So strange.

I'm flexible...it just depends on price basically and how long I can get away with a good price. I'm trying to find a good trip as a bday present for my boyfriend (which is March 15) so we both can get away. Everything seems so much higher now compared to last year. But either way, during those dates I gave, the price and location came up the same.

I went with Travelocity top secret hotels for July 18 to July 22nd.....4 star hotel for 96 dollars a night all inclusive in Punta Cana. Got the Ocean Blue & Sands Resort. Anyone can tell me if this is a great resort or not?

How many stars was it and what amenities did it list?

One more thing - the hotwire listing I mentioned before is still showing except its showing 104 dollars for Juy 18 to July 22nd. Any ideas what hotel this might be?

I know the Travelocity thing is new...but none of the hotels in the secret list mentions things like beachfront or resort...do you think it means its not on beach or is a resort? Or they just dont include everything in amenities list?

Thanks for the information! I am going to figure this out this weekend... I may be using the Travelocity "secret hotels" option if I'm going on this trip for sure. Should I post the results from that if I go that route instead of using HOTWIRE?

Hello - I was lookin at dates July 18th to July 22nd. Price is 88 dollars for 3 and a half stars Punta Cana region area all inclusive hotel. If you aren't sure, does anyone have any good guesses or ideas on several properties that it could be? Any info appreciated, thanks! Thanks! I guess it actually worked out for the better... Tripadvisor rated hilton number 18 out of 163 hotels while Gran Melia is number 43. Now I'm excited! Thanks again for the help!

I booked this room but it didn't turn out to be Gran Melia. It ended up to be Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort for 74 dollars a night. Total came out to be 456 dollars (trip insurance as added for an additional 23 dollars). Also the dates were March 13-18...decided for an extra night at last minute!

Why have the prices changed? When I looked at HOTWIRE this morning it was 69 dollars a night, and now it says 74 dollars a night?

Decided not to do Bahamas at the moment and decided to go with Mexico for now. Thanks for your help either way.

But doesn't sheraton northwest have tennis included when sheraton suites doesnt? Thats what it shows in the hotel list on here..

Hello- I'm trying to find a room for November 7th, 2009. Ive booked the Sheraton Suites in the Arlington Heights/Elk Grove Village Area 5 times through hotwire and it seems that the description as changed (removed the suite info from amenities). I've found 3 & 1/2 stars hotel in Arlington Heights - Elk Grove Village zone for 39 dollars and the amenities are: Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access, and Golf Nearby. However - none of the hotels say anything about customer favorite...could this still be the sheraton suites or something else? Thanks.

Booked a room for May 28th and check out on 29th. After fees and taxes, total was 67 dollars. The hotel is Holiday Inn.

If that is trump marina, then I will go ahead and use their website since they have a ultimate spring deal for 49 dollars a night. Just seems cheaper than HOTWIRE at the moment. Thanks for helping though!
