I tried a 4 star starting from $40 up to $53 unsuccessfully in these areas: Disney Area - Lake Buena Vista Downtown Orlando Intl. Drive - Pointe Orlando Universal Orlando Area - Intl. Drive North Universal Orlando Resort Area I probably could have gotten it for $55 but with the resort fees, it would have been $89 total and that was more than I wanted to spend for just one night since I am going to a concert and we just really need a bed to sleep and shower before driving home to Miami in the morning. Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista was $53 Express... again... too much with resort fees. So, I went with a $40 bid in Intl Drive and for the Rosen Inn. Pretty happy with it. I used the PRICELINE link here on better bidding.

I tried Central zone first at $40 for 3* and got rejected. 2nd time, I tried South zone for $50 and got Bay View Resort. Has mostly favorable reviews on trip advisor. I used the PRICELINE quick quote link on the site.

South By SouthWest is going on 3/9 through 3/18. It brings in tens of thousands of people into the downtown area. From wiki: "Collectively, SXSW is the highest revenue-producing event for the Austin economy, with an estimated economic impact of $167 million in 2011."
