  1. you can get 25-28 at 75 dollars a night at the palazzo. just call them if you are a Grazie member. new years eve on the other hand, we paid $310 a night for 31st and the 1st for the palazzo from Priceline bid. while hotwire is asking for 359 for Vdara and 355 for Palazzo. good luck!
  2. 5* North Strip. from the PRICELINE link provided here. Started with 281, went up to 300, 305, and ended with 310 Spending new years eve at the Palazzo and the night after. pretty regular price around this time. but we saved about 80 dollars ish using PRICELINE.
  3. just found out you can get the same hotel same weekend from PRICELINE bid at $88 dollars. very disappointed, but i guess it's only 21 dollars more... my lost is your gain, future people looking for 4* Seattle pike place hotels. cheers~
  4. Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet I was hoping for Westin, since it is a better hotel at a better location. but I ended up with Renaissance by the freeway. :)
  5. I think people should be warned. about some fees that may occur depending on your booking in the las vegas hotels through hotwire. my booking through hotwire for a 4* center strip hotel in nov. was 100.00 a night. it was treasure island. my friend Chris who went on the same trip, booked treasure island directly through calling the hotel was at 111.00 a night. another friend Roc booked through hotwire for 5* center strip hotel same dates. was 130 a night. and it was the wynn. but at the end of my trip we compared our total bill. here is the break down: me = [100 (per night) x 3 (nights)] + [21 (resort fee) x 3 (nights)] = $363.00 Chris = [111 (per night) x 3 (nights)] + [no resort fee if you book directly through the hotel apparently] = $333.00 Roc = [130 (per night) x 3 (nights) + [no resort fee charged at the wynn] = $390.00 so think about it people. hotwire does tell you at the end of the transaction in small prints that hotel may charge a resort fee but it doesn't tell you how much. but for something thats 21 dollars a night it should be a clear disclosure than what they currently have. if i have known the total for the wynn is only 27 dollars more, i would of booked 5* center strip instead, as betterbidding made it clear which hotel is which base on the amenities. i thank you for that btw. so lesson i guess i would like to share is this: we all use hotwire because we like to save money. i suggest calling the hotel before hand and ask how much their resort fees are for people who book their accommodations using hotwire, before you make the decision. i am sure this is the wrong area to post this, move it moderator if you want. i have no idea where to share this information that i thought people can avoid base on my experience.
  6. I am not a hard person to please. I am also not high-maintenance. I am sure for those who lives among luxury and contributed to this nation's trillion dollars debt who only think about themselves would knit pick this hotel apart starting from color, decorations to staffs. I must say my experience here this past weekend was pleasant and extremely comfortable. Starting from the friendly valet parking service, like every other 4+ star hotel. We did not have to wait in line at all to check-in. the registration clerk behind the desk was knowledgeable and friendly. the room is clean, organized with a floor to ceiling wall to wall window. Bed and pillows are heavenly. Bath tub is huge and filled up fast. the 2 sinks allowed me to get ready without waiting forever for my girlfriend to be done (although I still have to wait for her after but the true HDTV helped.) We stayed on the strip side of the hotel. I must say being on the 27th floor the view is beautiful but I think there is a club right outside by the waterfall. It gets loud at night, housekeeping brought us free ear-plugs in a timely fashion which helped tremendously. the cafe's food is fulfilling, I did not try anything else so no comment in others. I do think empty reserved Craps tables are silly. But the Craps table for the regular folks like myself with funny talkative dealers kept us playing at the same table for over 6 hours. It was a pleasant trip, and I enjoyed every bit of this hotel and their services.
  7. I used the HOTWIRE link here! thank you so much! For the same weekend, friends of mine got a suite at the Palazzo for 79.99 by calling them directly and asked for any good promotions for being a Club Grazie member.
  8. 02/20 - 02/22 a weekend! $119.00 not bad at all for the Wynn. Decided to go this route instead of booking Planet Hollywood through Starwood to gain points for $100.00. I have never stayed at the Wynn before, hopefully I won't be disappointed... 5-star hotel in Central Strip Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services
