I just selected 4*star (South) for $87 in the South Hotel Zone. *Resort *Beach Front *Fitness Center *Pool *Restaurant *Business Center *Hi speed-Internet Access *Golf Nearby *Tennis Nearby *Spa Services It resulted in Hilton Golf & Spa resort. The listed rack rate for Hilton was USD159/night. (I used the betterbidding's link for HOTWIRE )

On Dec 17th, booked this on HOTWIRE for $167+ fees and recovery charges of about 100+.

My experiences on Sheraton is as follows: Every night atleast for 10-15 minutes, half-the room's power went off (actually few adjoining rooms as well) the engineer had to reset the circuit breaker Twice the room service was > 45 minutes. The hotel had to make that complementary dinner & breakfast. There was no refrigerator in the room; the walls were paper thin. The internet access in the room was through a wired connection. Like rest of the places in Nassau; a 15% charge was tacked on to everything. Over and top of the USD15/per person/night.

I concur, I found the same description on Dec 17th for Dec24-Dec30th. The quote was for 167USD/night. Turned out to be Sheraton - However, AARP rates for Sheraton for that same period was about 160USD. Go figure :) The rack rate for Sheraton however was 279+
