Tried for 3.5* day before - went up to $82 with no luck. Came back today and $61 was first bid. Tax $29.42. Total for 2 nights - $151.42

Priceline has 4 zones for Williamsburg: 1 - Busch Gardens, 2 - Colonial, 3 - Central Outlets, 4 - Williamsburg West. Zone 3, Central Outlets has only 2* & 1*; all others have 3* options. Comparing maps, thought I was targeting Holiday Inn in Colonial section, and that Crown Plaza was in Busch Gardens area. Turns out Crown Plaza is in Colonial Section. Not my first choice, but still glad bid won. Would not have gone above $75. Crown Plaza showing $75 for same date on Hotels.com. Holiday Inn showing $104. Used PRICELINE link on betterbidding site. Didn't go with Priceline because there were too many 3*'s in the Naples sub-region that we didn't want. Hotel site lists additional amenities that may get rotated through HOTWIRE's 8 icons: Pets, Room service, free parking Expedia, Hotels.com, Orbitz all listing rooms for $103 - $111. Made our reservation by going through the HOTWIRE link on betterbidding's home page.

First time Priceline bidder. Followed your advice on rebidding. Bid: *3 Dtwn $40 rejected *3 Dtwn & Bellevue (Bellevue does not have any 3*) $41 accepted Went through your links to Priceline to start bidding. However, when the first bid was rejected, I shut the browser down. Re-opened it through an e-mail they sent me, suggesting to re-bid. Am now not sure if you will get credit for the bid.
