Thanks for suggestion, but I know it's a premium weekend Im looking for, undoubtedly the rates are higher. Would rather not hotel-hop this visit. I am surprised to see the rate on hotwire change as frequently as it does. Its back to 129 again tonight.

up to 149 now.. 5 different prices in a couple of days time.

Up to 129 today. Could this weekend's holiday bookings affect the pricing a month and a half down the road?

In the past 18 hours, Ive gotten quotes of 99, 119, and now 114. Right now Im sitting on the fence, ready to pull the trigger, but hoping to see the 99$ before trying again. We'll see..

I realize that's how it works, but it was at $99 for the week I was watching it. Then, it coincidentally goes up right when I happen to attempt and book the deal? I realize it maybe just bad luck, but, what timing..

So, I tried it. I clicked through the search results to the hotel offer I wanted, and filled out the forms. By the time I got to the end, it said the itinerary was no longer available, now the price is $20 higher. Is there something fishy here, or is my luck that bad?
