  1. I'm looking for a good 4* or 5* in London for 6/9-6/17, for under $290 per night. The express deals has a 5* in Westminster - if it were the IC, I'd do it in a second, but I'm assuming it's the Marriott (which I'd prefer to stay away from)? The Doubletree at Victoria is close to where I need to be, but I don't love the reviews.

PL also has a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in Finsbury for a 5* for $283, which I'm assuming is the Town Hall Hotel, as it's the only 5* in the area.

    Any thoughts?

  2. 3.5* Trenton-Princeton (Princeton West) Hyatt Regency,

    $41...5/16/10-5/17/10

    and

    $41...5/20/10-5/21/10

Just wanted to let you know I got the Hyatt (my favorite in Princeton) for 2 different nights...accepted $41 on my first try...used the forum's links to PRICELINE!

Also, it looks like they separated the Princeton West zone from the Trenton zone! (i wonder if they were getting complaints...)

  3. ah, good to know...hmm, so maybe I'll take my chances and see what comes up.

I don't know of anyone who has received Advantage thru 'bidding' for a car... i saw the Priceline Car Rental thread you're referring to and had questioned if the user received thru bidding or thru the retail side of their site. Given the price was not a whole number (ie- $8.83) i suspected that it was purchased thru the retail side of their side and not the "name your own price" side; but unfortunately the OP of that thread didn't confirm.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

  4. I have a reservation with Alamo for PBI 5/17-5/20, but I was thinking about bidding for a cheaper price. The problem is Advantage is now in the mix, and I wonder if they're coming up in name your own price (they're currently the cheapest price on the regular part of the site).

I don't know much about them, except that they're now owned by Hertz. I wonder how good the vehicles are at this point, and whether they might come up if I bid.

    Any thoughts?

  5. So I usually get the Hyatt in Princeton for $41. When I bid, it said it couldn't fulfill the request, but if I increased my bid by $12 it would be accepted. So I bid $53, and got the Marriott in Trenton.

I can't say I'm super psyched - I like the Hyatt, and I probably would've even preferred the Hyatt Place in Princeton, but so it goes. The hotel seems to have gotten decent review on Trip Advisor.

    I used the PRICELINE links.

  6. All set - updated all threads.

For Princeton, I'm actually thinking about tomorrow night, 8/1, for one night. The last time I booked Princeton on Priceline (through this forum), it was just one area, and I was able to get a great deal on the Hyatt Place.

    Please follow your previous:

    Hotwire Princeton

    Priceline Ft Lauderdale and

    Priceline Cap Canveral

threads with whatever you ended up doing for each stay... then bump this thread, including the dates of your upcoming Princeton stay, and we'll take a look at your post above.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.

    Thanks.
