  1. Go to radisson.com. on that page you will see a link to "more search options" Click on that & it will bring you to the search page - in the promotional code box enter CARLSONF
  2. There is a Carlson Hotels Friends & Family Rate that has been circulating the web available at the Radisson Providence Airport/Warwick for $80.00 a nite. Just use the promotional code CARLSONF in your search...
  3. Stayed at the Westin Waterfront for 1 night after seeing Wicked at the Opera House. Won the Westin for a great price on Priceline at $120 per night, when the website price was $339.per night. Tried to check in at noon as we had arrived early in Boston. Was offered a room with 2 doubles instatnly or I would have to wait for a King room until approx. 3 pm. Opted to wait since we were going to walk the city anyway. Parked the car at the hotel (kinda steep at $32.00/nite) and went our merry way. Got back to the hotel at 2:30pm & checked in to be put in a King room on the 16th foor next to the Presidential Suite facing downtown Boston. WHAT A GREAT VIEW!!!!!. It was beautiful !!! The room itself was very nice with a king size bed, chair & ottoman, large flat top desk, flat panel TV & wonderful shower with double showerheads. It was very nicely done with an understated elegance. The bed (known as the Heavenly Bed at Westin) was heavenly. We had a wonderful stay and wished it was for morethan one night. We did check out the pool & fitness center which were both very nice on the Mezzanine level. The hotel is attached to the Boston Convention Center so there were hundreds of convention goers everywhere. There is a Starbucks in the lobby that had long lines the whole time we were there. There is also the Birches bar, MJ Oconnors (an irish pub),, Saucity (the Westin's restaurant) and the City Bar all off the Lobby. We had drinks in the City Bar before the theatre & thought it very nice & reasonably priced as well. Overall I would definitely recommend the Westin Waterfront to anyone who is looking for a high quality, well done 4 star experiencs. It's location in the Seaport District is a little off the beaten track, but everything is still within reach as the Silver Line T is a 5 minute walk in front of the hotel or walk to South Station in about 10-15 minutes where you can catch the subway to any part of the city. For the view we had, I would gladly give up the idea of being downtown with all the crowds.& take a leisurely walk for some much needed exercise. A-plus Westin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Everytime you insert the hotel # in the address & bring up the hotel - there is never availability for that specific hotel. I actually attempted the same dates on both sites - On lastminutetravel.com there was availability & then when checked thru easyclicktravel they had no availability. Odd...
  5. You can also use easyclicktravel.com with this same technique - They merged with Tourico months ago - Just paste in the same number once you are on the hotel page in EasyClickTravel

  7. Booked 1 night at the Comfort Inn & Suites Dover NH as we were attending a wedding nearby & thought we would make a night of it. Got to the hotel at noon & checked in with no problem (3 hrs early). Girl who checked us in was so pleasant & eager to help us. Lobby is very nicely decorated with nicer upscale furnishings. Nicer than most comfort inns I have visited. Room was nicely appointed with all basic amenities & needs. Iron & ironing board, king bed, older tube TV, but free HBO. We pretty much just slept here & had free breakfast here in the AM. The breakfast was adequate, nothing spectacular. I would describe it as an expanded continnetal breakfast with danish, muffins, toast, bagels, freshly made waffles, those odd egg discs, sausage, cereals, etc. For the deal I got for this hotel at $55.00/night, I felt very lucky to stay in such a nice place. The wedding that I attended had blocked some rooms at the Homewood Suites1/4 mile away from the Comfort Inn at a rate of $179.00/night , So I think I gotta steal!!!
  8. Thanks for your assistance. That is what I thought... I did find what looks to be the Radisson Warwick also on Lastminutetravel.com for $67/nite. Will probably go with that. Thanks for all your help & a GREAT!! website.
  9. I need to book 2 rooms for 3 people in Philadelphia Downtown with one room 11/26-11/28 and another room from 11/27-11/29. Really have to be at the same hotel. Would do as low as a 3*. Is there any way to hopefully do this & be successful with 2 rms with the overlapping dates. or should I do Hotwire instead. I do have 2 rooms already booked at the Radisson Warwick (which I have stayed at before) for $80/nite cancellable rate as a back up. I have gotten the Hilton Garden Inn previously for $50, so I was looking to be around that area pricewise. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  10. I won the Chelsea in June. Call to confirm & make sure that you are in the tower - if they say you are booked in the Annex - ask to be put in the towers. I had a King room overlooking the Ocean & Boardwalk. Enjoy the Chelsea - Even the Annex rooms are not bad - but the Tower rooms are beautiful!!
  11. There are plenty of parking lots around the Marriott Courtyard - Check the link below with prices, hours, etc. http://www.philapark.org/findparking/find_parking.aspx
  12. For these dates on lastminutetravel.com they also have what looks to be The Radisson Warwick for $78.00 a nite. Their "undercover" hotels are much easier to identify as they give you the guestroom count floors, how mant restaurants, etc. Everything there points to the Radisson & it is cheaper than HOTWIRE. I am also looking for some later dates & discovered this.
  13. There is a parking garage right next to Wellington Station on the Orange Line just north of the city in Medford. It is $5.00 a day in a covered garage & it has a walkway that is attached to the T Wellington station for your ride into town. You could just stay on the Orange line to Back Bay station & walk to the Taj hotel from there. I have attached a link to the info http://www.stationlanding.com/StationLandingParkingRates.pdf

  24. Flew into Atlantic City for a last minute weekend getaway with my best friend. A sort of girl's weekend - but with boys... Got an amazing deal on airfare from Boston on Spirit Air and an even better deal thru Priceline for the Chelsea. We checked in early at around 1 PM on Saturday. We were given a corner room with an ocean view - King Bed, flat panel TV, really nice large bathroom with all modern fixtures & amenities in the Luxe Tower section of the hotel, Apparently if you win the Chelsea thru Priceline, they always put you in the tower. Everything was clean, very modern with a 60's retro kind of vibe. Great lamps & retro decor. I was so surprised when we saw that we had an ocean view since I had booked on Priceline, I thought for sure we would have a city view. It was a fabulous surprise and the start to a great weekend away. We did have a minor problem where the bathroom sink drain was broken & unable to close & open. We called the front desk & someone was sent within 30 mins to fix it. I did also notice the noise of the doors closing from other rooms, but it was not something that would ruin your trip(unless you let it). We did go to the pool bar & pool area. The bar was great with interesting people & good drinks. Pool was very clean, heated, with very comfortable lounge chairs. All of the public areas were clean & well kept with very interesting decor. On Saturday night we did sit in the lobby to people watch, as the fifth floor of the hotel acts as a popular night club where the 20 somethings congregate. As you can imagine, at 1-2 AM on a Saturday night, there are quite a few interesting sights to see... Everyone at the hotel was very helpful from the front desk, bartenders, fixit guys, & housekeeping. We never had an issue with any employee there. I did request a late checkout which was readily given to us & then we left our luggage at the hotel as flights were 4 hours later. All in all, The Chelsea is a nice alternative to the Casino hotels. Somewhat quieter with very comfortable accommodations, Service is on par with a 3.5 to 4 star hotel. A GREAT STAY!!!!!!!
  25. Going into Boston Sunday to see Wicked - had already won a night at the Westin waterfront for Sunday at $120 - didn't feel like paying another $120 for Saturday so bid on the Northshore as we can visit family there before we head into Boston on Sunday. Started the bid at $35 in Danvers / Peabody - rejected Added Saugus - bid $40 - accepted AND FREE BREAKFAST !!!!! Very pleased with this deal. Driving down from Maine, so I just wanted to be in Boston early Sunday for the whole day before the show. I did use the PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00 Subtotal: $40.00 Taxes & Fees: $12.12 Total Charges*: $52.12 Hampton Inn Boston-Peabody Danvers - Peabody 59 Newbury Street Peabody, Massachusetts 01960 978-536-2020 Check-In Date: Sat, Sep 11, 2010 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sun, Sep 12, 2010 / 11:00 AM
