  1. Hi, Thanks for the info. I sent an email with the request. We'll see if I get an upgrade... Something different now (I'm not sure I have to post it here, but I don't know where else, and it's still related to my trip): We want to go to a musical/play. What is the best in town for the moment? (I know it's kind of subjective, but I really would like your opinion.). We have already seen mamma mia and the lion king. Thanks a lot ! Cheers Ronald
  2. Hi, As we are heading to NY as part of our Honeymoon, I was looking to contact the hotel directly by email to see if they could arrange us some special things... Would someone of you guys have an email address of the sales/marketing/reservation department of the Grand Hyatt? Thanks in advance, Ronald
  3. Hi, Started at 100$ MTE....Refused Added Long Island at 105$...Refused Added Brooklyn at 110$....Refused Added Chelsea at 115$...Accepted. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link... I have already found my reservation on the Hyatt Website and apparently I received an Executive Room...I have no idea if this is better than normal ones. Maybe someone knows more? Cheers Ronald
  4. Hi, I was wondering: I have seen on the calendar of wins that for one particular day, two different hotels, from the same bid-zone, had been won at different prices (in this case MTE: The Barclay @ 115$ and The Benjamin @ 136$ on 4/27). Now, let say I want to stay at the Benjamin: By bidding 140$, will I end up at this one, or is there a big chance I still end up at the Barclay (and obviously paying 25$ more than needed...) Thanks a lot for your help on this matter. Best regards, Ronald
  5. Hi, I'm just wondering: in the "Calendar of Wins" someone won the Benjamin for the week of 4/27 at 111$ with Priceline. Now, on Priceline, the Benjamin is advertised at 345$ for this period. Is it realy possible that they give 65% discount on that??? Thanks a lot for your help!
  6. I guess I can always use my SPG points to get an upgrade if necessary :)
  7. I used the PRICELINE Link. Started with 105$ Champs Elysees - No Luck Free Re-bid with 110$ (Batignolle) - Got a counter offer for 132$. Refused Closed browser. Restarted through the PRICELINE Link 115$ Champs Elysees and Bingo Room Cost (avg. per room, per night):$115.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $115.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $16.23 (USD) Total Room Cost: $131.23 (USD) Personally, I think a great deal, considering the normal price of the hotel is 260$! Hope to get upgraded as I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest. Thanks a lot
