I see Langham Place listed under the pinned list of hotels but nothing on the board.
Would it be your guess?
We ended up booking the Hotel Palomar Chicago directly for a very good rate.
Oh my goodness, sincere apologies, I knew I had one or two unanswered but four is shameful.
I just closed them all out. Thanks for your help!
I did not go an extra day early, so just stayed at the Hudson from my previous Hotwire purchase, thanks for your help.

Thanks for the confirmation Aaron.
The reason I don't want to bid $225 in MTE (I assume you mean on Priceline?) is I wouldn't want to end up at the Grand Central Hyatt or some other cookie cutter hotel. When going to NY I always try to stay at the more individual chains like Morgans Group, Kimpton or in this case W
I saw someone got the Royalton on PL for $225, that's a hotel I would try for if I was more sure I would get it.
With the help of this board I have been able to identify every Hotwire hotel I have stayed at in advance.
I am just about to book this when I see something else, should I post it as a separate topic or can I ask here?

Heres a weird thing, I actually want to go the the day before but the same place doesn't come up. But the same place comes up if I do it from Nov 11-Nov 12 for one night, but at $275.00
Do I risk not getting the second two nights if I book the single night by itself first?
Thanks for your help as always, I love this forum. Will book thru your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links and give confirmation after I book.
I need to come a day early and can't get the Hudson Hotel where I am booked on the 16 & 17 (booked through the BB HOTWIRE link of course)
Any ideas what this property is?

Have stayed there before at full price and knew some rooms weren't renovated. Called in advance to see if at this price I would get an older room and the person did confirm that is the usual policy for Hotire and Priceline customers, but I got a nice guy who had me call back after I booked and he put me on a renovated floor.
Sweet deal! Thanks Better Biding!

Can anyone advise with these might be? Used to figuring out NYC or Chicago, This smaller market is stumping me not as many current wins posted.

Great deal. Thanks BB!!
Opps sorry for forgetting the dates. We did switch date. it's not the boutique I had hoped for but several friends have stayed here so I have first hand reports of it acceptability, even if it has a few flaws (especially for the price).
I do hope they won't ask for separate ID for all three rooms. Certainly not going to volunteer any info. Hoping since it's all booked under my name on Priceline they won't ask for more than my ID. Asking for an connecting room now sounds like a great tip to help buffer the problem if there is one.
Thanks for all your help. LOVE THIS FOURM!

$101.00 for a room in NYC! What a bargain!!
Aaron would you like me to post this in the Priceline forum?
I'll keep looking this afternoon; there appears to be something going on these dates, as the "specials" I'm seeing have these dates as blackout dates. You may want to try Priceline (PRICELINE link) for a 4* in the Midtown zones for $175. Booking 3 rooms may cause some difficulty on a set of busy dates. However, $160 would likely not be enough for a 4* given the rates I'm seeing for these dates for 4* properties.
You know, suddenly I am thinking we might go the following weekend. Looks like much better possibilities!
Help Identifying 5* Empire State Area Jan 15-19
in Hotwire Hotels - New York

Ahh that is disappointing but thank you.
I've stayed at most of the boutique hotels offered by hotwire and was looking for something a bit different.
The Langham is the #10 rated TA hotel in all of NYC, though it would be a great opportunity and an extraordinary rate.
It is on your pinned list though as the only 5* in that zone?
