Thanks for the feedback!  We do not have to stay in Seacaucus.  We would prefer to stay out of the city and take advantage of the free parking to save some money on this leg of the trip.  The thought of driving in Manhattan is intimidating!  We don't mind the bus ride into Manhattan.  Is there another area outside of the city we should consider?  

Hi, we are taking a road trip this summer. We are considering staying in Seacaucus and riding a bus into NYC to take advantage of free parking at the hotel. There will be 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 4).   7/22-7/25
