Sorry, forgot to mention the name of the hotel - it's the Mariott Renaissance.

Started at 55, and worked up in increments of 5, by adding the numerous zones that have a 3-star max. This was a little above the average for this area, but one reason could be the high demand/occupancy this weekend due to Microsoft's big convention for its employees from all over the world the following week. In any case, it's a nice deal. Now to deal with the parking situation - $30 per night at the hotel!! Wondering if public transportation is adequate to do the usual sightseeing ?

I think Las Vegas is a good destination to use the rebid strategy for a 5* hotel - just because there are so many zones there which DON'T have a 5*!! Anyways - started at 60, and moved up gradually to score the Palazzo for $80 a night for 3 nights - I see from the forum that some others have had success at or near the same price. Thanks for this website - it's really great!
