OK, if you want both Priceline and Hotwire discussions in the same message why do you provide separate forums for Hotwire and Priceline? So far, I must admit, asking a question is about 100 times more difficult on betterbidding than other travel question/answer forums. I'm almost to the point of just saying Never Mind.
So let me get this straight...ALL questions about the same trip - even if talking about Priceline AND Hotwire - should be posted in the same message? And before I go the trouble of cutting and pasting and typing all over again - in which forum would you like this message to reside??? How many iterations must I go through to get a simple answer on "THIS" particular question???
Please provide a follow-up for your prior San Francisco Hotwire thread (post in that thread what you decided for that stay), then reply to this thread and we would be happy to look into the above listing.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Done
Changed my mind of on this one...no longer interested.
3.5* Union Square West Hotel
Checkin 7/12/2011 checkout 7/17/2011 - yes that's 2011
3 adults
Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi Speed Internet
$159 per night
Could it be the Handlery?
I see according to the Priceline Hotel List here that the HI Express at Fisherman's Wharf is the only 2.5 star in that region. How do I bid for that hotel without possibly winning one of the other hotels in that area...I really only want the HI Express because of free breakfast and 2 beds (since there will be 3 of us).
The correct dates are: 7/12/11-7/17/11 Yes, it is far in advance, but to my knowledge there are no rules against pre-planning.
thanks
Dates are 7/12-7/17. 3 Adults with the 2* Union Square West - Nob Hill area Hotel. Amenities include Breakfast. I think it may be the Adante. Any thoughts?
I've found the exact same thing to be true because those are also my exact dates. I finally just gave up and went to KAYAK and booked a hotel sight seen at a very good price. Hotel Baldwin.
I'm arriving into SFO late....around 11:45 pm and just looking for a cheap place close to the airport to sleep. Next morning I'll get up and go into downtown SF at the Baldwin Hotel for the next 3 nights.
S. SFO Intl Airport - Burlingame Hotel
Amenities include airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast, business center, laundry facilities, hi speed internet, golf, tennis
Any idea what this hotel is?
Help, please.

Amenities include:

Complimentary Breakfast,

Have any idea?
Thanks
This is for a roundtrip ticket BNA -> CUN departing August 5 returning August 11. I found on Delta.com a ticket for $217.20 base fare + $74.14 taxes/fees = $291.34 total.
So I go to Priceline just to experiment. I put in BNA -> CUN for same dates and supply a bid of $217.00 The next screen tells me that my airline taxes and fees will be $137.45 for a total of $354.45, what am I missing here? Shouldn't the taxes + fees on Priceline be the same as Delta.com with maybe a few extra dollars for Priceline profit?
So for me to potentially purchase a ticket via Priceline I have to bid with a base fare of $154 in order to come out with a total Priceline cost of $291...which is what I would pay if I just bought it directly from Delta.
What am I misunderstanding here?
I do appreciate your help.
Purely a guess, but I wonder if it could be the Best Western St Elena in Venice? It's a very nice place.
Looking at Prague for June 3 - June 8 with 2 adults. There is a 5-star hotel listed in Prague Center for $153 per night. Amenities include airport shuttle, free breakfast, restaurant, business center. Any ideas what it may be?
I finally decided on Hotel Artemide. It was very expensive to book with them directly so I booked via www.easyclicktravel.com for a lower rate.
Why does the list of Hotwire Hotels not include Prague?
While it's not a 5*, the hotel located in the same building as the Marriott London County Hall is the Premier Travel Inn with the same location and same views...just NOT the same pricetag.
As an alternate idea since the 3.5* is unID'd, the 4* Hotel Delle Vittorie is $117 for this date via Orbitz, and that offers a free breakfast.
Sorry, AaronJB, I don't see the $117 you talk about. I see a $164 price tag.
Unfortunately, not sure which hotel this is, as it has not yet been ID'd, and I'm not seeing any match on the vacation package side of HOTWIRE.If you do decide to book, please let us know so we can add this property to the site's hotel list.
It's a good price, but Im not quite brave enough to purchase it without even having a hint as to what it is.
June 2, 2009 for 1 night at rate of $115.00
Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry
Thanks for any help.
Just got this hotel via PRICELINE FYI

If I actually purchased via Hotwire or Priceline then the result is posted. Otherwise it was not.
And I am officially to that point - I don't need an answer to the original question - since I'm guessing you really don't have an answer or you would have supplied it by now. So let me "officially" close this thread so as not to cause you or your readers any undue confusion and consternation.
