I'm planning a trip to the beach next year, and thought I'd try to get a jump on lodging and see what Hotwire offered. They have a 2.5* property for $77 with the following LONG list of amenities: indoor pool, restaurant, pools, fitness center, free parking, laundry facilities, high speed internet access, accessible for the deaf, accessible for the blind, accessible path of travel, inroom accessibility, accessible bathroom, handicapped parking, roll-in shower. I used the sites HOTWIRE link to begin my search.

I've not needed to be on the site for a few months, but the upgrades look amazing, great job!

Got a Midsize car from Hertz. Technically only bid $10 but had $3 in bonus cash to bring total per day to $13. Very happy with this deal as published rate was $55/day.

Sorry for not updating the Watertown post. That is now done and I've used the HOTWIRE link, will use that for my searches as well as purchases.

Work ended up cancelling my trip to Watertown, so I didn't end up purchasing a hotel at all.

Any idea if this was the Wingate on Sylvester Forney Dr, or the Wingate on O'Leary Rd? The reason I ask is that a property with the same features is currently on Hotwire and I'm trying to figure out which one it is.

Bid $39 for two rooms in Fairfax and was rejected, added Dulles South-Chantilly and raised bid to $42 and got the Courtyard Dulles Airport Chantilly. Used this sites PRICELINE links when I started my bidding.

Based on the results I've seen on this board, I've been centering my bids on the Albany Airport region. I've been bidding for a 2.5-3* and have been using the Suny Albany-Thruway and Schenectady zones for free rebids.

I'm trying to book a hotel for my brother and sister for the night of June 26th, have been bidding for about 3 weeks with no success. Does anyone know if there is a major event in Albany that weekend? I was hoping to get them a room for around $60 + taxes and fees, but am thinking I may have to up my bidding strategy. Would prefer to stay out of the downtown area to avoid additional parking fees. Everytime I check I use the Priceline link on the site.

Well I was helping a friend book this room but she has gotten cold feet about using HOTWIRE since we can't be 100% sure that the property is the Hotel Dupont. Even if it is, she has some reservations about the property. Thanks for the help ID'ing the hotel.
