We need to be in Manhattan but the cost of those rooms on HW are way out of our price range. Brooklyn is our next choice followed by Jersey.

Check in Sept. 10 check out Sept 11. Downtown Toronto West 4* - Bed Choice, smoke free, fitness, pool, restaurant, business, high speed. Bed Choice is relatively new and I don't know if it helps in narrowing down the possibilities.

Hi - Just booked a 4* in Princeton for May 22-24 with Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, High Speed, Business and Tennis for $68.00. Thought for sure it was going to be the Hyatt Regency. Turned out to be the Westin Princeton at Forrestall Village. More to come after the trip

This reply is not going to be much help. We ended up booking Midtown East and got the Tudor. Great service, great deal and great location. Unfortunately, it's been four months and a bit so I don't remember any helpful details. I'll try to look it up and find some more info at home.

Booked a 3.5 Star in Burlington for April 2nd (one night) for $57 with amenities: Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business. It was the Hilton on Battery St. which was exactly what I suspected thanks to Betterbidding and a poster to this forum who had the same booking in March for a few more dollars. I'm closing in on 10 bookings with HOTWIRE including Toronto, New York City (twice), Edinburgh, London Heathrow Airport and have known what hotel it was going to be each and every time but once. That one time was the Edinburgh booking and we ended up in the Caledonian....an amazing and historic hotel below the castle. Thanks!!

I'm looking at a 3.5* in Chelsea for Dec. 24-28 with Smoke Free, Fitness, High Speed and Business for $156 per night. I'm thinking it's the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Anybody agree or have any other possibles? Thanks.

You'll love your stay. Beautiful hotel right below the castle with old world Scottish charm. I wish we had booked for longer but thank God for Hotwire....never could have afforded the rates otherwise. Listen to Mark Knopfler's album Sailing to Philadelphia. The first song on the CD is called "What it is". You'll hear him talk about the Caledonian and Dirty Dick....Dirty Dick's is a pub on Rose St. a five minute walk from the Cally......Enjoy!!!

Sorry for the delay - hope this helps. Amenities were smoke-free, fitness, business, high-speed and restaurant. It was the smoke-free one that threw us because it wasn't listed in Betterbidding's Hotwire Hotel list but we had it narrowed down to Sheraton Towers, Helmsley, Warwick and Sofitel. We took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. We'll update with pics etc. on our return. Thanks once again to everyone for the help.

Tried again but the hotel had disappeared from the list. We did book a 4* for $174 and got the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. Had great reviews and we are thrilled to be going to NYC and staying at a 4* for less than $200/night. Thanks again for all the help.

Tried to book the 4.5* we discussed but it came up with "that itinerary is no longer available". The frustrating part is, the HOTWIRE site continues to show that same hotel in every search we do. As a newbie I'm wondering if this will not change until tomorrow or if perhaps we're just doing something wrong in our booking?
