Last miss was at $121. Used a free re-bid and won at $125. Looks like this is a new Hotel for Price.line (actually a new Hotel for Denver as well...). And it's getting some great reviews. Should be fun to give a new place a try. It's definitely on the outer edge of the 'downtown' bubble, but still a walkable distance to the Convention Center and the 16th Street Mall.

Missed at $78. Added another zone and hit at $81

Kayak was showing $143 for the Hyatt Place. Missed at $76, hit at $77. Used the BB PRICELINE link to start bidding.

Started bidding at $53 in Sandy zone. No luck, so added West Valley. Won at $55. Started bidding by using BB PRICELINE link.

I've bid into Davis and the Hyatt Place previously. A few times, I bid using $1 increments before winning at $80. Always, when I won at $80, Kayak and others said the rate for the Hyatt Place was $142 (if they said more than $142, you wouldn't win at $80). So given the $142 showed tonight before I started bidding, I figured I would win at $80. But given there are free rebids in the area I figured I might as well shoot a little lower. Surprise surprise, I won on my first bid at $77... So... I used to think $80 was as low as you could win 3* in Davis. But apparently not. VERY happy with the win, but for others, start lower than $77!

Started bidding lower, but by adding zones, rebid in $1 increments. So this was as low as was available. Actually was using Priceline Bonus Cash ($5/night). I bid $45, they upped it to $50. Missed at $49, hit at $50. Used BB PRICELINE link to start bidding.

Based on others wins at $50 and $48, started at $45 knowing I had one free re-bid. I was suprised to win on first bid. I suggest trying even lower than $45 next time. For reference, best rate on Holiday Inn website was $100 ($112 including taxes). Started bid by using BB PRICELINE link.
