  1. HI I was able to get a room 2* Quality Hotel in downtown Montreal fro $39 a night, Sep 14 to Sep 16. Great deal!
  2. I have bid up to $37 so far, no luck I guess i will continue each day until i get to my max. It has told me to bid an extra $10 and it will most likely give me a room. I will try and see how it goes.
  3. Actually now Im arrive Sept 14th around 6pm
  4. I didn't see any $40 either but I was hoping since i am picking 2*
  5. Yes I am willing to accept anything in the shaded area. Thanks!

  10. Hi I was able to get 3* Holiday Inn in Buffalo Airport for $55 a night. I changed my departure to one day earlier, may 21 to 24. My dates were actually rejected when I originally at 22 to 24 dates for $55 but with an extra day it was rejected. I am happy about the win, its a good hotel and the reviews are good and its in the area I wanted. Thanks for your help!
  11. All rejected, should I used the same strategy but change the prices after 24hr?
  12. Thank you! I think I get it now, so my 2 re-bid zones are: -South Buffalo - Hamburg 2* -East Niagara Falls, NY 2* Since they are only 2 stars it will allow me to re-bid the same zone by only increasing the price.
  13. Hi, Sorry for the confusion I meant these 4 zones, Buffalo - Amherst, Buffalo Airport (BUF), Niagara Falls, NY and East Niagara Falls, NY These are zones, 1, 2, 4 and 6 on priceline. Thank you
  14. I guess considering its last minute, I guess I should up my max limit to $70.
  15. Arg! I missed this, not to worry, I'm going to NYC again, the hotel location was excellent as it was right next to the subway. The only thing was that it was closed on saturday and sunday for some work. The hotel was good sized, I did not feel crammed at all. I love the free water bottle dispenser and I took advantage of the closet for extra pillows. Unlimited champagne!!! here I come!
  16. Hi Can someone offer a strategy for buffalo, NY, 3* rating in any of the following areas, Buffalo - Amherst, Buffalo Airport (BUF), Buffalo Airport (BUF) and East Niagara Falls, NY. I'm trying to get the cheapest possible rate, I have seen about $40 for those areas. I'm willing to pay a max of $55. Im staying for 2 nights from May 22 to May 24. I'm not sure how to do all the bids in one shot, it seems like whenever I do it i have to wait 24hrs between each bid. I use the PRICELINE link above and close the browser every time i start a new bid. Last time I used the strategy for NYC it worked and i was able to do it all in one shot. If you know strategy used before, I would like to use it please. Thanks!!!
  17. Thanks!!!! I got club quaters in wallstreet for $90, its close to the subway so its good.
  18. Thanks I will definitely follow your strategy. Can I do it all in one day or do I have to wait 24hr between each bid. Thanks!
  19. Hi yes I would like to stick to the minimum 2.5* rating, I would like to avoid the 15 min walk to subways.
  20. Hi Thanks for the reply! Considering that I will be staying only 2 nights I want to get the most out of NYC. I dont think I will be spending that much time in the hotel, that is why I noted that the star rating is not a major concern, the price is. I wanted to cap it at $100 max bid if possible, since with the fees and taxes it can add an extra $50. I do prefer to stay in the city and get the city vibe too. I mentioned to stay outside of the city to save money and use that money to be spent on attractions, etc. A 15 min walk to the subway can be a bit much, I guess I expected NYC core to have subway stations within a few mins. But I guess if the area has lots to see a 15 min walk is not so bad, I mean I can't have it all. The main thing is that I don't want to spend too much time traveling. The perfect scenario would be to have a bus stop (frequent) or subway outside of the hotel. If not then whatever is closest. I will also be arriving and departing from Penn Station. Some of the places I will be going to: -Staten island ferry -Top of the Rock -Empire State -Going to broadway show in cort theatre -Wax museum -Chinatown -times square -brooklyn -central park
  21. Hi I will be visiting NYC for 2 nights on April 23, and I am looking for one room for 2 people, I am hoping to snag one for less than $100. I will travelling by subway most of the time so I would prefer if the hotel was close to a subway and hopefully not too far from attractions (times square, etc). I am not too picky on the hotel as long as its clean and its in a safe area. What areas should I bid? What rating? I have heard others recommend NJ hoboken and Soho seems to cheaper hotels, are they too far from attractions? This will be my first time staying there. Thanks!
  22. This is my second stay here, last time I got it for $43. It is a very nice place and spacious, complete with kitchen.
