:) First bid $68 for a Resort in Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert and it was rejected flat out (no counter). I added Palm Springs to the area and upped the bid to $72 and it was accepted. Success! I have never stayed at Hyatt GC before, but am looking forward to it. The bid was submitted on 12/30/08.

I looked at HOTWIRE earlier in the week and noticed a 4-star hotel in Palm Desert - La Quinta w/ the "Resort" symbol available for $89; 10/24-26. Sunday morning I was going to book it, but the price had moved up by at least $20. So, I bid $80.00 on PRICELINE for a Resort in Rancho Mirage-Indian Wells-Palm Desert and immediately got: La Quinta Resort & Club 10/24 - 10/26 2 nts for $160 Taxes & Fees $27.50 Total Charges: $187.50 There will also be an additional $27/day resort fee. Booked on: 10/19 I wonder if I should have started at a lower price?
