Bid $35 selecting 3* on the downtown and north zones, was rejected. bid $38 by including 2.5 * zone, again rejected. Increased to $40 was accepted.
Room was OK, but would call it a 2 star. Bid in $5 increments, got it at 50. We had just stayed in a 3.5* Hilton in Greenville, SC for 45! No comparison on quality.
I know this is the lowest price, since 44 was rejected. They also upgraded us to a corner room for 10/night. nice hotel, decent pool and hot tub.
We stayed Sunday October 12 thru October 13 2008
Bid Once at 50 and got it. Was worried to start lower because there is only one other area option without the 3.5 star option. What is the trick to get more bids in a situation like that?

$46 is the lowest for this hotel. I tried to get it for 4/21-4/28 and was rejected at 47 after starting at 40 and using the free bids. I changed the dates to 4/24-4/28 and was accepted at 46. I then tried to extend the stay back 2 days and was rejected. I noticed that this price is pretty consistently available only for the weekends. Also, I got a Budget rental (standard size) for 15/day, 113.08 for 5 days. My flight I booked on Airtran, non stop round trip from Dayton, Ohio for 145 total.
