Amenities for 2* Cocoa Beach: beachfront, pool, restaurant. 3.5* is Melbourne area: beachfront, restaurant, airport shuttle, fitness center. Any thoughts?

I had a $50 bonus coupon to use from PRICELINE, so I just started with $15 to see how it would go. My options where pretty much open, so I thought I would be denied and just add zones and go up from there. To my surprise we were accepted. Please note, Expedia and Hotels.com has this listed as a 3 to 3.5 * rating. I did use the PRICELINE links on this site. Thanks for all your help! Kristen

Can someone please help me? I would like to bid on a 4* hotel in downtown Atl for 2/4 staying 1 nite using priceline. I do not want to stay at the Omni. Is there a way to avoid staying there? This hotel does NOT deserve the 4* rating. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Kristen

Sorry I didn't update this sooner. It was a nice hotel, very close to riverwalk.

The dates are 5/7/09 thru 5/10/09. The bid was $140. Someone else bid $135 for a few days later and won the desired hotel, so I thought I had a good chance. Plus, like I said, my bid ($140) was higher than the nightly rate on the PRICELINE site. As requested, I did use your PRICELINE link to make the bid. Kristen

I am very disappointed, I was trying to win the Westin Resort, also a 4*. I thought by bidding over the Crowne Plaza's price, ($136) I would either win or be rejected, not get a hotel that costs less. Just an FYI for others. Thanks, Kristen

Yellowdog, is there a way that I know that I am bidding on the Westin Diplomat, not the Beach Resort? ARe they in different zones? I am interested in going 5/7/09-5/10/09, but I really only want to stay at the Diplomat. Are there other 4 stars in that zone? Thanks, Kristen

Hi, I want to bid on a resort in San Antonio for 10/11/08-10/14/08. The current room rate is $550 a night with third night free. Last week the rate was $275ish. I would like to know how much I should bid? I think it is the only resort in SAT, based on Pricelines Map and Star Ratings. I think it is the Westin La Cantera, but not positive. I am looking for something with a great pool, near SeaWorld and has free parking. What is the lowest amount to bid? Is 50-75 to low? Thank you, Kristens4
