So I saw other postings that booked the Pan Pacific for as low as $65 so that's where I started. I was looking for one night 3/30-3/31. My first bid was rejected and so I slowly and carefully (areas without 4*) bid up and finally landed it at $82. It's not $65 but still a great deal for that hotel. Thanks for all the tips!

A bid for 2 nights in USW- Nob Hill area (4*) was just accepted at $75 from the Hilton. I started at $70. This is for 2/27/09-3/1/09.

2 days ago I put in a bid on Priceline for Pasadena on the dates of Nov 7-9th. It was for a 3.5 star hotel and the winning bid was $75. It came up as the Pasadena Sheraton. Hope this helps!
