One of the very few shortcomings with Priceline - the weather prevented us from using the room we had originally booked for 2/13. Oh well, with all the money we have saved we are still very, very far ahead. Started bidding tonight at $30; rejected but offered room at $38 - not the $8 just the fun of bidding - we added area 6 North and rebid $33, still rejected; so added Area 8 South Side and accepted at $35 - total of $47.21. FYI went to hotel website and could get a bargain - $131.10 with taxes and fees if I prepaid the room. See why I love Betterbidding and Priceline! Of course, I used the BB links for PRICELINE. Why wouldn't I?????

Hey guys - what have you done to the site - hard to find posts of different cities. Noticed this yesterday and again today. I put in Pittsburg and get 3 responses - which are not helpful. Not sure if there is something I'm supposed to be doing different. I like to see a lot of posts for a city as it gives me an idea of which hotels match which stars. Just doesn't seem to be a user friendly as in the past,. Help please.

In town for State Football Champ games. Original bid was $40 for 4* rejected; lowered star to 3.5 and bid to $39. Accepted. Total cost is $96.76 or around $48 a night. This really is more of a 3* hotel but we are comfortable there. Parking is $12 which is cheap for the area. Also close to most all rental car places so can sometimes return car the day before, take shuttle to airport and save charge for a day. Used BB PRICELINE link.

Allentown PA listing on HOTWIRE for with 3* $43 as a hotel with.. Airport Shuttle Comp Breakfast Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry It is the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel & Conference Center and came to $44.30 after taxes. 300 Gateway Drive, Bethlehem,PA,18017 (610) 866-5800 Confused (me) when I started this booking I showed checking out on the 16th and the price was $43. Changed the date to the 17th and went ahead with booking and rate booked was $39. Didn't notice if it changed on the main page. NOTE: this is a 2 1/2 * with PRICELINE. Used BB HOTWIRE links.

First try $40 rejected with caveat that could have it for $52 - no deal; 2nd try added Area 3 went to $43 and was accepted. Total $55.42. Never stayed here before but sure is will be great.

Worked on this one - tried yesterday starting at $35 rejected; added area 7 and bid $37 rejected; added area 9 bid $40 rejected. Tried again tonight starting at $37 rejected; added area 7 bid $40 rejected; added area 9 bid $43 accepted. Total for one night $56.39. Used bb PRICELINE links.

:) Had a little time so just had to play games. Started the bidding at $40 in desired area (Concord/Walnut Creek even though it shows Lafayette) and was rejected; just started adding other areas (3, 4, 5, 6) all with only 3 star hotels (this hotel is 3.5*) and was finally accepted at $45. Must be their minimum. As you can see we have stayed here several times during football season (have a grandson who plays at De La Salle - Concord) and this is a very nice hotel. Great area, no parking fees, easy access off I-680. What would we do with out you BB - of course we used your PRICELINE link! Also might add we went to Priceline through you last trip for a rental car - think we got something in the $14 a day rate. EXCELLENT Probably will try that again this trip. :)

Tried yesterday for area 2 3.5* for $42 rejected (was offered to accept at $54 which we didn't take) - added area 3 and went back at $44 rejected. Tonight went area2 for $45 and was accepted first try. Have stayed here before - great hotel, no parking. Total of $108.50 about what one night is regular rate. Used BB links!

Just a note - this hotel was in California - not Nashua as shown.

First bid on zone 7 (LAX) for $40 rejected - told could have it for $12 more. Said "NO Thanks". Added Zone 6 (only have 2* hotels) and rebid $42. Accepted. Looks like $42 is bottom dollar. Have stayed here many times - is okay but not really 3.5* quality. Parking is $12 a night which is good for around the airport. Total for 3 nights is $152.52 or a little over $51 a night. Oh, yes, there is a WiFi charge. Don't use it so not sure of exact price. Another hint - hotel is very close to most rental car agencies so many times we fly in, take shuttle to hotel and get rental car the next morning (saving a day and parking) and also return the car the day before we leave, taking shuttle to airport. Bid $41 rejected. Added Castro Valley and increased bid to $44 - Accepted. Total is $56.30 - Parking is $20 - not real happy with that. Would have much rather been out at airport but doesn't seem to be a way to do that in Oakland. Used BB PRICELINE links.
