  1. My apologies for not following up to those other times. I didn't realize that was required. It's been several years since I've been on this page and I honestly don't remember going on a San Pedro trip and while I remember going to Seattle, I don't remember the name of the hotel. Rest assured that now that I know, I'll follow up with the results and books through your link. My travel dates are feb 25-27, 2016. If you can't assist me because I didn't follow up, I understand. But please let me know if you won't help so I don't keep coming back and checking. Again my apologies. It was not intentional.
  2. 3* Ft. Lauderdale las Olas - Downtown Pt. Everglades area - all suites hotel 95% recommended - Amazing Free breakfast, free internet, pet friendly, airport shuttle, smoke free rooms, fitness centre, pool(s), business centre Can anyone identify this hotel please?
  3. Was it the Renaissance? I'm seeing the same hotel on HOTWIRE and wondering the same thing.
  4. Just won the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Hotel for March 16, 2012 Location Los Olas Downtown Ft. Lauderdale 4* Rate per night: $103.00 Rooms:2 Tax recovery charges & fees: $34.10 Total: $240.10 Hotwire says it's 3.2 miles from the airport; website says 3.8 All of the other info: amenities are as per the hotel list here and ratings per Trip Advisor This is the hotel that I was hoping for so I'm very pleased. It's just down the street from this wonderful day spa (Diamente) that my friend and I are planning to spend the afternoon at. We can walk there from here.
  5. I've been trying to get the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro. I have put in my bids on Priceline and I get rejected. Fair enough; I'm happy to try again. I'd like to include another area to see if that helps my chances, but I don't know which other area to add in. I don't want to get stuck somewhere far from the cruise port and if at all possible want to get the Crowne. Can anyone give me some guidance? Thanks in advance. Kim
  6. Yes, we're not arriving until about 8 pm so that doesn't leave a lot of time of exploring. So airport it is. Anyone have an idea as to what this hotel is? The more I'm researching (mostly here) the more I'm thinking it's the Hilton. Hubby told me that $79 is a pretty good price and to go ahead and book it now, even though we're not going till next July. I don't care if it's non-refundable - I'm going on that cruise no matter what!! :)) What do you think? Kim
  7. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to put it in the wrong spot. Our travel isn't until next July (the night of the 17th to be exact). I wasn't going to do a bid just yet, but did plug my dates in just to see what the pricing said. HOTWIRE gave this hotel a price of $79 per night, which I thought wasn't too bad, but just wondered if anyone knew which hotel it really was. Kim
  8. On hotwire this hotel is a Seattle airport hotel. The star rating is 3.5 and it says the amenities are shuttle, fitness centre, pool(s), restaurant(s), laundry facilities and high speed internet. Am I correct in assuming that this is either the Doubletree or the Hilton? I tried to do the reverse checking but it still says unknown. Can anyone help? OR since I've never been to Seattle before (and we're looking for a one night precruise) would either of these hotels be a good choice for this purpose? Should we even be looking at airport or should we be looking downtown? Thanks in advance. Kim
