  1. We tried to low ball bids at around $55. Third round of bids we got it for $70 USD. Dec 14,2009-Dec 15, 2009 Called to request it has a King sized bed and all they would do was write it in the remarks, and said they would "try" to grant it. QJuice
  2. Stayed at the Marriot Yorkville Sat Oct 25,2008 - Mon Oct 27, 2008 for $72USD a night, through Priceline. This hotel is 4* for sure. Its only 6 stories tall, but the rooms are huge. On check-in there was no mention of Priceline, and when we mentioned the trip was to celebrate our 1st Anniversary we were upgraded to the Executive Floor (top floor). They actually apologized that they didn't have an suites. The Executive floor gives you free access to the Concierge Lounge which offers free breakfest, deserts, and 'Happy Hour" (Mon-Fri). The lounge also has a huge flat screen tv, an on-duty concierge, and a buisness boardroom. The room we had, was nicely decorated with a King bed, with lots of pillows and high quality linens. The room is quite large. The view was nothing to write home about as you looked into a courtyard, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. Self parking was cheaper than we though...$22 for two days. The Hotel is connected to an undergroud mall, which connects to the subway (a great way to travel). Look into a day pass for the subway if you plan to make many stops.
  3. I just won a bid for $55 USD/ night for the Sheraton Centre. I was all ready to re-bid but I guess my initial bid was too high and the accepted it right away. Thanks for the tips. Great website.
