lol, I think I would have rather heard the ice machine than chairs at 5am lol. Thanks, I kinda figured that, but, I booked it the day before, and I didn't want to risk loosing the bid.

No, I got a room on the 8th floor about 10 rooms down from the ice machine, although, I swear I was above either the excutive lounge, or a suite with marble floors, cuz all I heard were chairs dragging. Otherwise, the renovated rooms are very nice (I stayed here a couple years ago, before the renovation)

Hi, It was a 2*, and it was the Best Western Grand Strand (on S. Ocean at 18th ave), for Sept 13-14

I just returned from a stay at the Best Western Myrtle Beach, and though a billing error by the hotel, I learned a bit how Priceline works. When the hotel checks you in, Priceline gives them a one-time use credit card number for the hotel to bill them. My winning bid on PRICELINE was for $45.00, and I paid $58.24 total with taxes/fees. Out of that $58.24, the hotel received $47.94 as a payment for the room.
