Staying Friday, 7/31/15, check out 8/1/15.

    $237 per night

    Amenities via Bidding Helper:

Boulder is not listed as a zone in the Hot.wire list, so I could not look it up.

This sounds like the Millennium Harvest House Boulder

    1345 28th Street, Boulder 80302

  2. I'm now seeing the same amenities EXCEPT Fitness Center. Still at $73. Best guess still Harrah's?

I read another post about promo codes and I ended up booking the Paris 4* through Harrah's website:

Check in: 11/20 Check out 11/22

    Promo code: PPSTL

    $115 per night

Searching other sites, the Paris was listed at $140 per night, so I think I got a pretty good deal.

    Thanks for the help!

  3. The above is a match for Harrahs so that would be my best guess.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

PS- please also follow-up your previous Hotwire Las Vegas thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Thanks.

  4. Welcome to BetterBidding!

This property has not yet been identified, but the natural guess would be the Palms, and the only other 4* hotel that i can think of in this zone is the Rio, which has already been reported with amenities other than the above.

EDIT TO ADD- i have a bit more confidence in the guess above... searching for the sole nite of 9/6-9/7 a 4* hotel in this zone appears above with the same amenities, but this time the TripAdvisor information is shown, and it's consistent with the Palms so that would be our best guess (please use this HOTWIRE link should you move forward)

Just following up from last year. I ended up booking through Hotels.com. I booked a flamingo GO room, which I highly recommend upgrading to!

  5. After selecting "see all amenities" I was able to find that "Spa" was listed as well. I assume this means that this matches either the Wynn or the Venetian?

I just won on priceline 4/4 - 4/8 $119 with the same amenities as you have listed at the Wynn. However, looking at the calendar of wins for your dates, I noticed that there is a posted win for the Venetian at $95 a night, so my guess would be the Venetian. I'm a forum newbie though, so maybe some of the veteran members can offer more insight....good luck!

  6. I found the answer to my question in your link to FAQ, thanks. I searched the site for this question but was probably using the wrong search terms. :)

I posted an answer to my previous Vegas trip, I never knew I received a reply, my apologies. I also did not know that I was supposed to post in the same thread for the same trip, so thanks for pointing that out. Also, I did not know you were affiliated with Hotels.com, I thought just HOTWIRE and PRICELINE. I will use the links here when booking future travel with any of your affiliates. Anyway, I'm bumping this thread so hopefully someone can ID these 4 and 5 star hotels. Also, is there still trip advisor rating info for each property or is that no longer a feature of HOTWIRE?

Thanks again, I'll get the hang of it.

  7. Hi,

I'm confused. I've researched here about Hotwire and made a post, but never ended up booking through hotwire b/c I could not find the hotel that I was looking for. I booked through Hotels.com I did make three posts today: 2 regarding hotels that I could not identify, and one regarding whether or not it's good to wait, or book the sooner the better (i.e. is there a trend as to whether they offer better deals, earlier or closer to the dates of stay.) I'm not sure why my 3 threads were combined.

    Thanks for the help.

  8. Hello,

I'm a frequent stalker of this site. Have yet to take the Hotwire plunge, however. I notice that in the calendar of wins, the 5 star hotels for my date were won at a lower price than being offered now on Hotwire. I was wondering if anyone knew what general strategy is better. To book early, or wait until closer to the date. Are hotels more likely to offer lower rates for last minute bookings? Thanks for any advice you can offer!
