Hello, I'm moving to SF from Ft Lauderdale, FL in some months and will not have a car. I would like to travel this great land for 2 weeks, but prices so far make it ever more hard to digest. My ideal price is no more than $25 per day, and a hybrid rental for the overwhelming cost of gas. Is this out of reach? I have tried HOTWIRE and PRICELINE but have had no luck so far. I wonder, are there services that connect people who want their cars driven to a place, perhaps return rentals or just a car delivery? I have heard of this in the 50's but have no idea where to look in this day and age. Thanks for any help. I know it's 4 months away but I want to check all corners!
