Hi, Trying to decide whether to stay at a resort or in Isla Verde for a friend's bachelorette... We are leaning towards Isla Verde, but the Hilton Carib rates look really good... Any suggestions on whats better for a party & site seeing location, and hotels that I should be looking at in those areas? Has anyone stayed at or heard anything about the Marriott Courtyard Isla Verde? Thank you, Bina

Hi Folks, Just an update after returning from my trip. The Radisson in Key West is not in great condition. OK for one night if you don't really care. The carpets and worn and detaching from the wall and floor. it was very cramped in the bathroom - I could barely close the door without getting into the bathtub. And the bathtub had a big dent in it that was very unsettling when you stepped in it by accident since you could not actually see it... Hilton in Key Largo on the other hand was excellent. $10 cheaper for me since I had a corporate discount but only $20 more if you booked it online without it (and probably less through hotwire). Have fun in your travels...

I think it is Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal... but someone else should confirm as i am new...

I am no longer a Hotwire virgin! =) The Key West 3 Star Hotel for: - 1 night Tuesday October 7, 2008 - $89 (less than the $99 i saw when I first searched at the time of my posting) - Trip Advisor 3.0 out of 5 rating Based on 100+ customer reviews (Last reviewed September 2008) - And all the ammenies I listed above Was the Radisson! I went back in and did the same search though and it looks like it (as well all the other deals listed) has gone up. I think the same listing is now $96 for the same night. How do I change my posting title to reflect my find? Thank you!

Have you considered one way rentals rather than parking your car? It is quite expensive to park in south beach - probably more than the cost of the rental per day.

Im worried about the fact that it Hotwire does not show more ammenities... For example parking, etc. that the Ramada does show... So this Hotwire hotel comes to $100 and I have a room reserved at the Hilton for $106 + $12 for parking (Company discout rate). Not sure if I want to risk the bid and then have to pay for Parking anyway... In that case I would rather stay with the Hilton. Any recommendations? What would you do? Thank you!
