Rates seem to be up quite a bit in Vancouver during this time. We have previously been able to get 4* hotels well under $100, no problem. This time, I spent a couple of months, bidding every night, no luck. I finally gave up and bid $145/night for a 4* and got Pacific Palisades for September 16 & 17. It looks like Westin may have opened up a bit, I saw a few winning bids for Westin today at $140-141 (wish I had waited!). In checking the hotel sites, rates are up over $200/night. I think you might expect to pay around $140/night. By the way, I'm still trying to get 2 rooms for 1 night in Victoria for 9/20/07. The best I've done is receiving counteroffers when I bid $140 or above. (sigh)
