  1. Ok, thank you. Maybe I'll look into Hotwire. I've never used it before. If I need help I will post further questions.
  2. I have used priceline in the past and have always been happy. We are planning a trip to Maui and I was thinking about using Priceline. My question is if my room is only guaranteed for 2 people will it be a problem when we get there and we are a family of 4? Will my whole family have access to pools and other resort amenities without being charged additional fees? I know there will be a resort fee and that's fine, just wondering if there will be any other charges because of there being 4 of us?
  3. I will be looking for a room in the disneyland area soon and I was wondering how to use the rebidding zones to get more bids. I will be looking for either a 3 or 3.5 star rating for oct. 8-11. I would like to keep the price under $50 a night. I was thinking of starting my bidding at $40.
  4. Thanks, I would like to know how to do the rebidding! I will probably be bidding on 2 more rooms in the disneyland area Oct 8-11 with a 3 or 3.5 star rating. There are a couple people that cannot stay as long and need to book their room later. It would be nice to be comfortable with the rebidding zones before I bid again.
  5. We just got the 3 star holiday inn and suites anaheim on walnut for $45 Oct 7-11, 4 rooms We have stayed here a few times before and it looks like they have upgraded the star rating I think it used to be 2.5 stars. It will be nice to see what they have done since it was under construction, that was the last time we were there. It looks like it has a $10 parking fee now too, I don't remember them having that before. We first bid $41- rejected 2nd bid $43- rejected 3rd bid $44- rejected 4th bid $45- accepted We did the first 2 bids on the same day using a 3.5 star and then a 3 star, then the last 2 bids the same way today. Thank you for your help, we didn't try the rebid zones because we were unsure of exactly how to do it but we are happy with our price and next time we may take you up on your offer to help us out with the rebid zones. We used the PRICELINE link on this site.
  6. my goal for the rooms is the least expensive rate with either a 3 or 3.5 star rating and I definitely want the disneyland area
  7. the dates are oct 7-11, budget is between 40 and 50 hopefully for a 3 or 3.5 star, we could go a little higher if needed we will use the PRICELINE link from this website as usual
  8. I was wondering if anyone has ever reserved 4 rooms with priceline's name your own price option in the disneyland area? Is this possible? Will it be harder? I would appreciate any experiences with this and thank you in advance!
  9. I did a search for Mar 15- 17 in Carlsbad for 2 rooms with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids, I would appreciate your best guesses as to what hotels these might be. 3 stars in Carlsbad for $89- airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restraunt, laundry facilities 2.5 stars in Carlsbad for $72- smoke free, pool, high-speed internet access 2.5 stars in Oceanside for $53- complimentary breakfast, laundry facilities 2.5 stars in Encinitas for $62- complimentary breakfast, pool, high-speed internet access $53 sounds great but, I am wondering what hotel that seems really reasonable. Thank you for your help!
  10. We will need 2 rooms, each will have 2 adults and 2 children. The dates we are thinking of are Mar 15-17, but really any sunday through tuesday in march would work. I think we are leaning towards using HOTWIRE so that we have a guess as to what hotel we will get. Yes, we will make sure to use the links from this website to book our stay. This site has been great, I used it a few months back for a trip to Disneyland. Thanks for your help!
  11. We are planning a trip to legoland in March with another family and I was wondering what my best bet would be, PRICELINE or HOTWIRE? I am wondering if anyone knows the average price for a hotel down there using one of these sites and what areas are decent for families to stay at? Are there areas I should avoid? Any information about Legoland and the surrounding area would be appreciated.
  12. I just booked through this websites PRICELINE link and got Holiday Inn and Suites Anaheim at 1240 Walnut St. for $48 from 10/15-10/19. I requested 2 rooms at this price. I started at $38 yesterday and then went to $43, today I started at $45 and then $48 was taken. I have stayed here before and it is clean and kids eat free. Thank you for all your ideas posted on this site. This is very useful and I will use this site in the future for traveling.
  13. I was wondering if you knew which hotels these were. They are both 3 star hotels and the dates are 10-15-08 to 10-19-08 and the price is $59 for both. Disneyland North-fitness center, pool, restraunt, business center, high speed internet Disneyland South-no smoking, free breakfast, pool, laundry room, high speed internet I was also wondering about a 2 and a half star in Disneyland South same dates and same price with pool, laundry, and high speed internet. Thank you for your help
