One more question: What distinguishes Palazzo from Venetian in PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals? Again, amenities look the same.

Looking for Palazzo, but I want a room w/2 beds, an option that HW is giving. Guess I'll wait & see what happens. Still have over 2 months. Thanks!!!

Thanks, Aaron. What you indicated is what I thought, but unless I'm blind, I don't see laundry listed as a possible amenity for the Venetian on the Better Bidding list of possible amenities. That being said, the rate now has gone up...ugh.

Yes, I know, but the amenities appear to be identical. I'm looking at 10/1-10/4, both are $136.

How can I tell which is which? Is the Palazzo the one with a 95% approval and Venetian is 90%? How can I tell one from the another?

Trying to ID this hotel for 11/27-11/29. Amenities are as follows: Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterSelf service laundryInternet access. It has a 4-star TA rating & 85% among HW reviewers. I would think it would be the Astor Crowne Plaza, but that hotel doesn't have self-service laundry. I called and checked. Current price is $102. Any ideas??

I saw another win for these dates for $60, so I bid $58 & was accepted right away. I was kind of shocked. I wonder if an even lower bid would've been accepted!

I've read negative things about the Hilton & therefore want to avoid it. Supposedly it's very noisy b/c there's a lot of construction going on next door. It's listed in the Fin'l District on P/L. Would really prefer to use P/L vs. Hotwire for the better rate!

I'm looking for a room in Providence 10/23-10/25. Could anyone tell me if I have the best chance of getting a good rate NOW or if I wait, or is there just no pattern to follow? Just wondering if I'll find myself in big numbers if I bid now. Thanks!

Thanks, Paul. Yes, I did do that & $110 seemed to be the magic number, so I'm sure it's fine. I'm just kicking myself a little b/c I started at $110 (thinking that was safe b/c previously my $155 was rejected). Anyway, it's high season in Ft. Lauderdale, so I doubt I could've gotten it for much lower, if at all. Also, I noticed someone won the Renaissance in Plantation (I believe) for $91, so I think $19 more the 17th St. location sounds about right!

Finally....I got the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale (17th St) for 110 + 21.21 = 131.21 for 1/31. Bid 4 stars, downtown. Thanks everyone for your help! (PS: About 2 weeks ago I bid as high as 150 for the & got rejected...this time I started at 110, never expecting it to be accepted, but it was on the first shot. Makes me wonder if it would've gone through at a lower amount??)
