  1. P.S. I forgot to mention above, but I DID use the PRICELINE link on the BetterBidding homepage to make my reservation. :) Brandon
  2. 3.5* Buffalo-Amherst $60 3/26-3/28 -- Marriott ; won on initial bid. Brandon
  3. I used the the HOTWIRE link to book a single night, 9/21/09, at a 3* hotel in the San Antonio Riverwalk South zone for $60. Using the Better Bidding information, I was hoping for (and expecting) the Holiday Inn on St. Mary Street which is literally on the Riverwalk. The icons were identical (fitness, laundry, pool, internet, restaurant) yet the results were a Holiday Inn about a mile away on West Durango Blvd. The hotel identifies themselves as "Downtown/Market Center" but this is not a Hotwire zone. I am going to make the best of the situation... the price wasn't bad considering a direct booking at this other property would have been $116. Please consider updating the database to reflect this second Holiday Inn property. Thanks! Brandon
  4. I decided to book directly with a hotel using a friend's employee rate for the Dallas portion of my "Texas Tour." I did, however, use the Better Bidding HOTWIRE link to reserve the AUSTIN Downtown/Town Lake RADISSON HOTEL (3.5*) for $90 for 9/20/09. I will only be there for one night. Icons: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Internet Thanks! Brandon
  5. Sorry about that. I have updated my previous post but am not sure how to bump a post or what that actually means.
  6. I was able to obtain the Holiday Inn Select on University Parkway on Hotwire with the amenities and price mentioned previously. The hotel is in a good location with several shopping and restaurant options nearby. The hotel was clean and quiet. They did have a small bar/restaurant in the lobby with limited room service which was nice. Overall, it was an average experience. Brandon
  7. Please help identify a 3.5 star hotel listing under the Downtown Dallas Market Center South zone for $69 from 9/10-9/13. Icons are fitness, business, internet, restaurant, and laundry. Thanks! Brandon P.S. As always, I will use the HOTWIRE link to book!
  8. I may have found an answer to my own question... trenslori posted a message in the Priceline forum several months ago and saw the Holiday Inn Select listed as 3-star on Hotwire but was able to get it slightly cheaper by using Priceline. I might be wiling to take my chances... looks like a nice property. I'll certainly post again if I decide to proceed... and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE LINKS! Brandon
  9. I am looking to stay in the downtown area of Winston-Salem for a conference at Wake Forest University. I've entered the dates, 5/18/09-5/22/09, into Hotwire and there is a 3-star property with these icons: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Internet. Rate is $57. The Residence Inn is sold out during this time and the icons do not match either. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? As always, I plan to use the Better Bidding link when making my purchase... this site is a lifesaver!
  10. I bit the bullet and it did turn out to be the Clarendon WITHOUT the boutique icon as noted above.
  11. Any help in identifying this hotel would be greatly appreciated... Hotwire Phoenix Central $129/night 1/17/08 - 1/20/08 Icons: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet I am curious as to whether this could be the Clarendon although the "Boutique" icon seems to be missing. I don't think this is the Hilton Squaw Peak based on the icon combination. Thanks! Brandon PS: I plan to use BB HOTWIRE link for my booking! :)
  12. I went ahead and booked this hotel for $99 for the night and it turned out to be the Hotel Indigo. I am quite happy given the near perfect reviews and $50+ off the posted rate. Obviously, the icons have changed. The complete set of amenities were those listed in my previous posts. Hope this helps others. Brandon
  13. There is no shuttle icon. I double checked just now and the icons are exactly as I described above... smoke-free, pool, fitness, and internet. I "clicked into" the choice to make sure there were no additional icons. It is listing at $102 right now in the Buffalo-Amherst zone. I am totally stumped. To my knowledge, the only 3.5* hotel in Amherst is the Marriott but the icons don't match. Brandon
  14. It will be a one night stay with arrival on 9/25/08 and checkout on 9/26/08. Thank You!
  15. I am looking for help in identifying a 3.5* hotel currently listed on Hotwire for the Buffalo-Amherst zone. The icons show non-smoking, gym, swimming, and internet. I looked at the compilation and the only 3.5* listed is the Buffalo Marriott BUT the icons for restaurant and child activities are missing from the current listing. Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? Any help is greatly apperciated and I do plan to use the BB links for booking! Brandon
