  1. Hi I'm looking at a 3.5 Star hotel in the Bensalem langhorne area that's $100 for 7/22-7/23. It said 80% recommended. Bed choice. Amenities are: parking, internet, smoke free, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, self service laundry. Do you think this is the Sheraton? Thanks
  2. Oh. I think our son got sick and we had to forfeit the night :-( then we rebooked and got the residence inn. what can you do? That's why I have no recollection of staying at the Sheraton. I was worried I was losing my mind. Ha! Ok. And I'm guessing the 3* listed is the courtyard by Marriott?
  3. So I've booked here before (a year ago) but I'm a little confused by what I'm seeing.... A year ago you'll see that WE BOOKED a 3* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal which ended up being the residence inn. Now... Looking to stay this Friday night 7/21-7/22 Looking at priceline express deals There is a 3.5*. Amenities are Free internet Free parking Gym spa Pets Pool Restaurant Business center I would have guessed this to be the Sheraton. BUT it says hint you've stayed here before. So are they guaranteeing it's the residence inn? I'm really thrown off by the fact that it says restaurant and not free breakfast.
  4. We booked the 3* PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal and got the Residence Inn for $115 for 8/11-8/12. Thank you.
  5. I'm just interested in finding out if HOTWIRE is offering then less then the $115 PRICELINE EXPRESS deals

Thanks
  8. If I try to name my own price on a 3* what are the possible options I could get? Spring hill suites, residence inn, courtyard, do you see any others? Thanks again
  9. I followed up to our Providence stay last year. Sorry I forgot to previously! Yes, I'm looking for this week 8/11-8/12. The express deals 3* amenities are free breakfast, internet, parking, gym, pets, no smoking, pool and business center. Thanks
  10. We booked a 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal and got the omni Providence hotel for $147/nt for 6/19-6/22 2015
  11. We are looking to use priceline to get a hotel room this Thursday to Friday 7/11-7/12 in the langhorne levittown area. Express deals: There is a 3* for $115 that I'm guessing is the residence inn langhorne based on the amenities. Any other guesses? There is a 3.5* for $115 that should be the Sheraton bucks county. NYOP I've previously named my own price for a 3.5* and gotten the Sheraton so I could do that again. If I were to bid on a 3*, would that also be the residence inn since that seems to be offered for the express deals? Any thoughts here? I'd be fine with the residence inn or spring hill suites but not so keen on the courtyard by Marriott. Thanks!!
  12. Yes we are very happy! Dates should read 7/24-7/25. Not sure how to adjust it in the title. Thanks
  13. Ok I was so excited about the rate being offered I decided to go for it. I tried the Priceline NYOP at $75 for zone 4 with a 3.5 star hotel. It was rejected. Then I went back and added zone 1 since they don't offer any 3.5 star hotels and offered $80. It was accepted. And we got the Sheraton Bucks County. This is a phenomenal deal. Most of the local hotels were $200 a night that weekend. The Sheraton is $209 a night. We saved big time. Hope this information helps someone else!
  14. Hi, We could use some help trying to narrow down what this hotel could be. We are looking to stay one night- July 24th in the Langhorne, PA area. When using your PRICELINE link, the Express Deals shows a 3.5 star hotel for $88. I know there are no guarantees but it looks like the only possibility for this is the Sheraton Bucks County. Does this seem right? Any other possible options? If I try to name my own price, what should I try? $75? 80? As far as bedding, we could really use two beds, but we could make 1 bed work if needed. I guess we could request a double bed after buying or get a rollaway? Thanks!!
  15. Hi all, It has been a few years since I've used this forum to assist me in bidding on priceline so I hope you can give me some guidance. (When you have kids your travel plans come to a hault!) I clicked on Better Bidding's PRICELINE link and am looking to stay in Downtown providence from 6/19-6/22. All of the "expected" 4 star hotels are in the area that work for us so we are fine with any of them. Express Deals had a 4 star for $133. I'm going to assume this is the Omni although I know it could be another 4 star hotel. The Omni's best rate right now is $161. I assumed naming my own price would get a much better deal then the express deal offer of $133. I started bidding at $98 and worked up to $120 using rebids by combining zones for a 4 star hotel. I didn't get any bites. The $133 is ok.... but we were hoping to do better. Aren't the "name your own price" deals usually much better then the "express deals"? Perhaps I should wait and see if prices drop? It is father's day weekend though so it is possible that is complicating things. Any guidance? Thanks!
  16. We are looking to book a SUV or Minivan at Orlando International Airport (MCO) from 8/23/14 pickup at noon to 9/1/14 dropoff at 8:30am. We will be using Better Bidding's HOTWIRE link. After searching and comparing prices it looks like hotwire is offering a great rate: a standard SUV for $254 with tax. I don't care what specific make or model we get or what rental agency we get a long as we get the same class of car at the price we paid. However, I have read reviews of some people who claim some of the lesser known car rental agencies like SIXT tell you they don't have the car available or try to add on additional fees at the counter in an attempt to get more money when you get the car. What guarantees or customer satisfaction does hotwire offer? What if I show up to get the car but the rental agency says it isn't available or try to bill me additional fees? Thanks!
  17. Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I have so far unsuccessfully bid on "Name Your Own" price hotels at PRICELINE using the Better Bidding link. I am looking to go from 10/26-10/28. I am only interested in the Convention Center area and will take any hotel 3 star or above. I started at $62 and worked up to $77 making multiple bids using different zones. I have a backup hotel room booked at the Marriott Downtown for $109/nt. (which is a good rate but I want to see if I can save some money)
  18. I just wanted to post a follow-up that we decided not to use PRICELINE and stick with our rate at the Hampton Inn. Thanks anyway!
  19. When I check the express deals section the only 3 star I see is for North Ocean City and that's over $140/night. I don't see any 3 star in the Ocean City area.
  20. I am still deciding if I want to try bidding. I have a room reserved at the Hampton Inn but would like to save some money if possible. I am currently paying $152.50/night. If I bid on a 3 star hotel in the "Ocean City" area (not Ocean City North) priceline states that the amenities include a pool and a user rating of 9.0 or better. What choices may I end up with? The Hilton? The Courtyard by Marriott? Any other possibilities? Thanks!
