  1. My reference to a Encore Suite was a Encore Resort King Suite, which is comparable to the Venetian / Palazzo rooms in size 745 S.F. I was interested in trying the Encore but the Palazzo is my favorite, we love the sunken living room, two TV's, great to entertain friends and have a cocktail in the room. Also there is a Walgreen's next door to the Palazzo where you can buy liquor, wine & beer for in room consumption. It appears the Encore only has one TV on a swivel mount so it can either be viewed in the living room OR bedroom. Also looking at Wynn / Encore resort map I think the Venetian / Palazzo offer more choices in restaurants / lounges and pool areas. The Wynn does have a nice size sports-book if your into that. So my final answer... 8-) I used the PRICELINE link that you provided and booked the Palazzo for $229/night minus the Priceline Express 5% Priceline Coupon. Thank you for the help!
  2. The listing I saw for $204 comes up under 5-star All-suites Hotel in Center Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes area (The location confuses me) But it says the last booking was the palazzo... Book soon! The last person got the The Palazzo at The Venetian 4.6/5 rating, 95% recommended Overall satisfaction 4.6 Condition of hotel 4.6 Quality of service 4.5 Room comfort 4.7 Room cleanliness 4.7 Casino Fitness center Pet friendly Pool(s) ResortRestaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms Suite free parking I agree with your comments regarding the Venetian vs Palazzo, I would also entertain staying at the Encore in a King Suite if similar rates were available.
  3. I'm familiar with the property, I prefer the Palazzo. Thank you for the reply.
  4. I'm trying to book the Palazzo for March 15-19, 2019 I just found this rate using the Hotwire Better Bidding link for $204.00 per night. It says "The last person got the The Palazzo at The Venetian" Do you think it's safe to say I'll get the Palazzo? If I purchase today? Thank You LINK TO HOTEL
  5. Thank you for the help! It was the Le Meridien. Here is the cost breakdown- $188.00 per night x 2 nights x 1 room
  6. I booked directly with the Palazzo as that is the hotel that we decided we wanted to stay at.
  7. 4-star, 1501-2000 reviews, 95% RECOMMENDED, Amenities Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Restaurant(s) $188./night Based on the number of TripAdvisor reviews would this be the Le Meridien? Thank you for the help!
  8. OK, one more question. I'm see under Priceline Express Deals the following 5* Hotel for my dates. Las Vegas Strip North Area $212 similar hotels+ $159.00 per night 5.0 Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) This Hotel has: Indoor or Outdoor Pool | Free Parking | Restaurant | Business Center | Casino | Fitness Center Do you think this property is either the Venetian, Palazzo or Wynn? Thank you for the help!
  9. Thank you for the reply and information. The best price I've seen on other websites for the Venetian and Palazzo for these dates is in the $175.00/night range plus tax & resort fees. My maximum I'd bid right now is $150.00/night, my dates are 11/8-11/12/12, 4-nights. Your thoughts? Thank you for the help!
  10. I'd like to bid 5* North Strip for 11/8-11/12/12 with the hope of getting either The Venetian or Palazzo. I'm seeing bidders having success recently for these two hotels. What I want to avoid is the Trump. I understand the bidding strategy for none 5* zones, but I believe the Trump falls under the 5* North Strip zone? Any suggestions? Thank You
