Boutique, non smoking, breakfast, swimming pool, laundry, internet
Total came out to be $67.47. The property's webpage has a $79.99 web special. Mixed reviews on tripadvisor. Not quite Boutique as the Hotwire's general description would have you believe.

Tried bidding up to $55 for downtown 4* with no luck. Decided to go for Valley 2* hotels because many offer free breakfast (days inn, la quinta) and got Candlewood suites Salt Lake - Ft Union. 2 nights ended up being 98.41 total with taxes and fees. Might have done better if I had booked more than just one day ahead of time.

Used the HOTWIRE link. Was able to narrow it down to 2 hotels thanks to the board so I wasn't too surprised.
I started at $70 based on previous winning bids and 3 days later with rebids, PRICELINE rejected my latest bid of $106.
Is there some big event on 8/7 to 8.8 that makes 4* convention ctr - cap hill really expensive? Any other recommendations for hotels? I won't have a car so distance to the sights is important.
The hotel is listed as a Customer Favorite with the following amenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Business Center, Laundry, Internet.
