Needed a second room for more friends and crossed my fingers that I could get the Sheraton again, and had good luck!! Followed the bidding strategy in another post as follows: 1: New-bid: 4* Montreal -- $60 rejected 2: Re-bid: Montreal add Dorval -- $70 rejected 3: New-bid: Montreal & Laval -- $75 rejected 4: Re-bid: Montreal & Laval add Dorval -- $77 rejected, offered a + $22 rebid option -- declined 5: New-bid: Montreal & Longueil -- $80 rejected 6: Re-bid: Montreal & Longueil add Laval -- $83 ACCEPTED!!

Hope it's not too late, but spelling is actually "VAUGHAN" (with an A) Not sure, but that might work better. There are a few hotels in North York around Finch/Hwy. 400 and Steeles/Hwy 400 (Holiday Inn Express, Travelodge, etc.), just off the highway which are easily accessible to Wonderland.

Started at $70 and worked up to $85 using other non-4* areas (downtown is the only 4* area in Montreal). Was kind of hoping for Intercontinental as I am Gold Priority member, but Sheraton is just as nice :)
