Im bidding on a 3.5 star in San Pedro CA. Priceline shows 3 star as Best Value, but does not list any 3 stat hotels. If I knew  what the hotels available are I would go to a 3 star. Are there any 3 stars in San Pedro, CA?

When I look a Hotwire hotel list for Galveston East there are no 2 1/2 star hotels listed but when I go to Hotwire they offer a 2 1/2 Star hotel. Any idea what hotel this is?

Thanks for the reply. I have searched " calander of wins" and can only find US States and Canada. How do you pull up "other countries" ?

My travel dates are Mar 29 and Mar 30.

Has anyone won a bid lately at LHR? I'm looking for a 4* mid Apr and the regular rates seem quite decent. Suggestions on what to start my bidding at would be appreciated.

Correct me if im wrong but the winning bid section does not work for Europe?

I had noticed some hotels seemed a little more reasonalble in the Plantation area for my Jan /10 stay. I also checked a couple of hotels regarding airport transfers.

I did place a couple of bids in this area but they weren't accepted (thank goodness). After checking with another hotel in the area, I discovered not all hotels had airport transfer and was advise a cab would cost about $60.

Not knowing the area, I am in need of some assistance on what areas to bid when traveling by air for a cruise. Is this imformation avalable anywhere on this (or others) site? I don't mind staying away from the higher priced areas to save a little cash, but transportation cost must be reasonable to not offset any saving. I'm prepared to bit the bullet on price if thats the best option.
