Bid the night before and got this. Started at $60 and increased by 5 dollars each bid and was successful at $75. An excellent location and we feel we got a real bargain. Rooms are nice but not many facilities -no pool, no business center on the weekends -we didn't bring a laptop so no computer access in the hotel, had to pay a fee for the fitness room and our room had no mini bar even though there was a price list for one. Expedia rates this room as a 3.5* which I think is more accurate-a very nice hotel but no real "wow" factor.
Bid $34 and was given a counteroffer of $9 more. Bid $39 and was accepted. This is a very good 2* hotel. Right across the street from the airport and has pool, and continental breakfast buffet. The rooms have been recently redecorated and the rooms have 2 queen beds or a King and a queen sofabed.
Just did a hotwire weekend package as a test and the "Dominion Grand Hotel" came up as the 2.5* with a spa......Just read some reviews on trip advisor and I think I will take a pass.
I also thought it might be the Chateau Victoria, but this has a nice indoor pool.
Could it possibly be the Seaside Luxury Resort and Spa?
Hotwire has a *2.5 hotel in Victoria, BC for $51. It only shows a spa -nothing else. All the spa hotels I could find also had a restaurant or a pool.
Does anyone know what this could be??? Thanks
