im a little confused on the whole priceline thing... I am looking for a flight from PHL to DEN on dates July 30 - Aug 6. I bid $200 and clicked.. next. at the top of the page it said "Price Summary: Total trip cost: $247. And then, i clicked next....and it says "Your trip Cost....etc". I scroll down and find credit card info to make a purchase. Does this mean it worked....was that all i had to do? Is that the complete bidding process? Or do I "purchase"... and wait to see if the deal was real? confused beachbum :)

well, I took a day trip yesterday (saturday) to the "city that never sleeps" and had a wonderful time.. The christmas time in New York brings people.... people... and even more people than any other time it seems. I made a few stops at some places I've always wanted to visit including...ground zero, 5th avenue, times square, chinatown, rockafeller, and battery park (sp?). I'd have to say if you plan on traveling down 42nd street anytime soon... wear steel toe boots. Coming from delaware.. the ride was not too long (only 3 hours)... all in all I enjoyed this magnificent city... and will return someday soon. Anyone here from New York City?

ooooooohhhh ghosts... creepy.... :)) I think i will stay away from this choice when i book for the summer...

I booked airfare on Expedia. The airline was USair. I was not sure at the time that the small print writing - "operated by United" - meant that i would be on a united plane. I arrived at the airport at the USair checkin... and was told to check in at United. I was nervous at first to fly on a united plane after reading everything on the untied.com website. I will never fly united ever again... enough said. I have no doubt in my mind that everything on that site is true!

My stay here was not as I expected it to be. The suite I stayed in with a kitchen, one king bed, and a pullout sofabed, was very small and cramped. You could sleep 4 people, but it would be very uncomfortable as I found out. And walking in after a days hard work from the convention center only to find out that the receptionist is stuck in the elevator with a vacuum cord hanging from the closed door, with the fire department trying to pry it open, was very ammusing :) . Maybe she will try a cordless vacuum next time. anyway, i checked out and decided to try the hampton downtown, which i might say was very exceptional compared to homestead even though it was not a suite room.... :)

well i found 205 including tax and fees on Orbitz for a standard vehicle for one week.... The company is Enterprise..... im wondering if they have any special military discounts... :o)

thanks guys.... i ended up booking four tickets with a price of $242 RT each ticket on Expedia. The $232 and $233 went fast and i lost that fare the next day so thats what i got (242). So im happy.... good times too... depart 808 AM (not 6 am)... and return leg departs 5 PM. THANK YOU!! P.S. (Now i find i need to book 4 more tickets possibly with the same flight and fare... dont think its going to happen.....rates jumped to 289 RT....haha cant keep up) THANKS!

hello all im new here... and ive been searching everyday for airfare from BWI (willing to fly from PHL, IAD, DCA also)...to AUS. I need to fly this august 1st and return august 7th. I can also depart July 31st. Ive found 232 RT ticket.... with very early departures.. and was wandering if anyone could help me find something better .... :)) Thanks ~~!
