  1. Started bidding at $55, $57, $59, $60, $61, $62 and won at $63. Perfect location for shopping and pre cruise stay. And complimentary breakfast too!
  2. Started at $32 at airport area, added $2 to each rebid zone. Got accepted at $40! I think HOTWIRE was showing this hotel for $49, so still got a deal.
  3. Been trying for 2 weeks starting from $60, 2.5* with 2 accounts for the fort lauderdale airport and downtown locations. Finally hit yesterday night at $83 and got upgraded to 3*. Was very happy at first until I read the reviews. Luckily I will only be there for 1 night. Used your PRICELINE link.
  4. Just won a mini-van at MCO for $29 + $3 bonus bucks for total of 206.85. Rental is with Alamo for June 27-July 2/2012. I have been trying for a month and just noticed the rates went down. I had a back up reservation at Dollar for $270. Very happy with the outcome. Would much prefer to rent with Alamo.
  5. Just won for June 27 - July 02/2012 Wyndham Orlando Resort 8001 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819 $37 + $5 bonus cash = $42 I stayed at this hotel before and I'm not happy with the result. It's a very worn down hotel that showing rust. It's also has a musty mildew smell from what I can recall 3 years ago. Reading new tripadvisor reviews doesn't help much either. But for this price, I can't complain too much and I knew it was a possible win.
  6. Trying to bid for a 3* in the Universal Orlando area. It's very early, but thought I would give it a try. My dates are June 27 - July 2nd Bid $36 rejected Add rebid $37 Add rebid $38 Closed window Bid $39 Add rebid $40 Add rebid $41 rejected I'm quite certain I would get something if I bid up to $50-$60 based on previous wins, just thought I'd low ball it for now since I have loads of time to play around.
  7. Started at $48 and worked my way up to $52 with $1 increases. Won the La Quinta Inn Sunrise. I was aiming for the Holiday Inn express in plantation but this works just as great. :) La Quinta Inn Sunrise At Sawgrass Mills 2
  8. Thanks for the tip on the currency converter. Unfortunately, this hotel in no longer listed. Looked really good but I couldn't figure out the hotel based on previous wins. I'll keep you posted if I find something else of interest. Thank you.

  12. I took my chances with priceline and bid 4* on March 4th and was thrilled with my win. It's much more fun going through priceline with the anticipation and surprise. Started at $50, $53 got message to increase by $15, ignored bid $60, $61, $62. I jumped by bid from $53 to $60 because I bid the previous day and got nothing so I figured I had to rebid at $60. But I started my original bid at $50 just in case they lowered the prices. Thanks for a wonderful site and of course I started with your PRICELINE link. 13. Just to give an update. I've been bidding 5* up to $100 with no luck, almost daily. I've been getting an one time offer to up my bid to $146, which I've declined. I've booked a cancellable reservation at MGM Grand $76/night. It seems to be a pretty good deal and the reviews are quite good. I'll still continue to try to book a 5* for under $100, but if things don't work out, it'll be the MGM.
  14. Hi,back again. I need help with id-ing the following March 14-15, 2 person 4* smoke free rooms fitness swimming restaurant business laundry high speed internet spa I didn't find anything on the hotel list. Do you think it's the marriott, since usually they list non smoking. Thanks again in advance for your help.
  15. Tiki, thanks for the post. I've been bidding on priceline for the past few weeks for paris with no luck. My budget is $100 inclusive of taxes and fees which seems really difficult for paris since previous wins are usually above $100. When I saw your post, I immediately jumped on the deal. My dates are for April 25-29. Thanks again!
  16. I've been waiting for this deal for the past few weeks. Noticed someone else on the board recieved this deal but my dates were showing $79/night. Glad I was patient enough since it was very tempting to go for NH Harrington Hall which have been showing up in the $50-$60 range. Thanks again for such a wonderful site and used your PRICELINE link as usual. 18. Splitting the bids is not an option. We would rather pay more than go through the hassel of checking in and out. Normally Treasure Island would be fine, but I just got back from the caribbean and I'm all caribbeaned out. I wouldn't mind visiting there but I'd rather not stay for this trip, though the tripadvisor reviews are very good for this property. I have the impression I'm bidding a bit too early. I still have about 4 months to go. I heard somewhere that the hotels usually do an assessment on occupancy and adjust their rates every 90 days accordingly.
  19. Just used your PRICELINE link to get this. Wanted something that included breakfast, but for this price I can't complain. Started at $39 in BUF area, added Amherst and increase to $42. 20. Hi, This will be my first trip going to Vegas and I would like a few pointers on where I should stay, things to do and places to visit. My dates are May 17-23, and I noticed someone has won the Wynn for this period. I tried today via your PRICELINE link and started at $90 and immediately got a counter offer of increasing it to $166. That is way off from my original offer. My budget is $100/night and I'm hoping to get a 4-5*. I checked some other hotels sites for rates and I find that its really expensive for that week. Is there anything special going on? Do I really need to be on the strip? Is north better than the south end? Do I need a car rental? My main purpose is just to visit around take in some shows. I'm not much of a gambler but I heard the casinos are an attraction itself. Thanks in advance
  21. Started bidding 2.5* in the Chelsea area hoping to get the Holiday inn express from previous posts. Started at $90, 95, 100, 105 and was thrilled with this win. Was very surprised with the ease of win considering many post tried days and weeks to get something in Manhattan. Congratulations, we
  22. Bid 3* at $50, then $60 and was successful. I was just showing a friend how to use priceline and didn't expect them to take the offer at $60 since I just bidded a few days ago and didn't get accepted until $65. My bad. Should always work my way up. Congratulations, we
  23. Just got back from my trip and it was great. Was trying to get the Sheraton but ended up at Doubletree which worked just as well, but would of preferred to stay at the Sheraton. Started at a 3* at 60, 63, 65, 67, 69. Congratulations, we
