  1. Sorry. The dates of the stay are 7/28-7/30. These are the amenities: Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free, Fitness Center Restaurant(s), High-Speed Internet Access, Spa Services I used the hotel list to figure out the hotel before I purchased. The Spa and Boutique icons gave me confidence to purchase.
  2. Was having difficulty finding something using PRICELINE as I wanted to avoid the Financial District. Very pleased with the location and price. Use the HOTWIRE link at the top of the site.
  3. Did a bit of research on here and bid up to $100 in $5 increments from $80. Used the PRICELINE link from here. Looks to be a good deal on the hotel as the total with taxes right at $131. I messed up on the title: the dates were 10/27-10/28
  4. I'm very excited as I was prepared to pay much more given the demand there appears to be for this weekend. I forgot to use the PRICELINE link this time, but I have used it for the bulk of my past priceline bookings.
  5. Especially good deal considering that there seem to be a number of massive conventions going on around this time.
  6. Just completed my stay a few days ago and can say that I was pleasantly surprised. I used the kiosk to self check in and was given a single bed on the 15th floor. Room was clean and didn't look old as some of the reviews i found online stated. The room even had a plasma tv. The bathroom was small, but not that small. Lobby was large and actually impressive. Very good location as well (42 and park). Well worth the money spent.
  7. Bid $145 in the MTE area based on some of the post I read here. I Was hoping for the intercontinental, but got the Grand Hyatt. Bid accepted immediately. Ive read some reviews and it appears that the Grand Hyatt might not be worth the $379 that is being charged for a room on other sites. I think this is a good deal for less than $180 with taxes et al. :) Oh, I followed the link for priceline provided by the site.
  8. Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile 3-star North Michigan Ave - River North Area 540 North Michigan Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60611 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $85.00 Subtotal: $85.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $20.58 Total Charges*: $105.58 Check-In Date: Fri, Jul 11, 2008 / After 04:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sat, Jul 12, 2008 / 12:00 PM Accepted my first bid of $85 for a 3 star in NMA. I tried several times to win the 4* conrad et al. but had difficulty. I bid up to $110 in the loop and NMA using skokie and mdw as rebid zones and had no luck. It seems that there are huge conventions in town this weekend ( http://www.choosechicago.com/events/Pages/calendar.aspx ) In any event, i just checked the Marriott website and this room is going for $269 so I am happy :) :) .
