The dates in the body of the message included checkout dates (ex: staying 1 night on 7/7 at Cherry Creek checking out on 7/8). Sorry it was confusing. I was just used to putting that day in after searching for hotels all day and having to include it as the departure date. The Cherry Creek part of our trip is not definite. We are still debating whether we will stay in the mountains 1 more night or go back towards Denver that night. The Colorado Springs night is definite. I will create a new post for it.

Sorry I never posted what I booked on this trip. I ended up staying at the Hotel Giraffe which is a small boutique hotel and booked it through the hotel directly. They were located in the area where we were looking to stay and I had read several good reviews on it and the small chain of Manhattan boutique hotels it belongs to. They were also offering discounted rates during the time I was there. Thanks for all of the feedback though. I spent a lot of time overanalyzing that trip with all of the hotels in NYC. You were all very helpful.

I was really looking for something with more of a boutique hotel feel to it. Normally I would go with the one you mentioned in MTE for the savings, but after reading some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, I was a little skeptical (and I usually like both of those hotel chains). And I'm not always so picky, but since this is for a child-free Valentine's weekend, and we don't get to NYC very often, I wanted to be somewhere with less of the chain hotel feel. Thanks for the replies.

I am looking at two hotels. One is a 4* Empire State Building for $173 (Boutique, Comp Breakfast, Restaurant, Internet, Business Center). The other is 4* Midtown Central for $175 (Fitness, Restaurant, Internet, Business Center). There are a few different hotels these could be based on the amenities and it was not showing me the Tripadvisor ratings. Is there something else I could look at to figure these out or could someone narrow it down for me? Thanks for any help.

The 4* Riverwalk North hotel had changed when I did a new search also. I went ahead and booked the 4* Riverwalk South hotel (from the HOTWIRE link above) and you were correct. It was the Hilton. Thank you very much for your help!
